Patriots S Patrick Chung (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. He missed practice Wednesday but returned for Thursday and Friday workouts. We'll update his status Sunday morning.

Patriots QB Tom Brady (Achilles) was limited in practice this week but isn’t listed on the final injury report. There’s never been any concern about the Achilles issue. Brady is safe to fire up as an elite QB1 against the Dolphins on Sunday.

Patriots QB Tom Brady (Achilles) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. There's been no indication that the Achilles issue is anything to worry about. Brady remains an elite QB1 for this weekend's pristine matchup against Miami.

Patriots QB Tom Brady did not practice on Wednesday with an Achilles injury. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Brady is "fine." There's no reason to worry about his Week 12 status at this point, but we'll continue to keep a close eye on the situation.

The Broncos have fired OC Mike McCoy. Someone had to take the fall with Denver sitting 24th in points per game. Of course, the QB play has been a much bigger issue than the play-calling. McCoy will be replaced by QB coach Bill Musgrave. He helped the Raiders to top-7 finishes in yards and points last year -- but he obviously had much more talent at his disposal. Don't expect a significant turnaround for this Denver offense.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Browns OLB Jamie Collins will miss the rest of the season after tearing his right MCL in Sunday's loss to the Lions. That positions James Burgess to assume Collins' starting role, but he doesn't bring anywhere near the scoring upside.

Browns OLB Jamie Collins left Sunday's game against the Lions in the 1st quarter with a knee injury and is questionable to return.

The Browns "hope" to have WR Josh Gordon ready to play when he's 1st eligible in Week 13 against the Chargers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He's allowed to re-join the team on Tuesday but can't practice until November 27. With just a week of practice before that Week 13 game, Gordon would likely play a limited role. It'd also be his first regular-season action since December of 2014 -- a nearly 3 year layoff. Gordon's return is an exciting story, but it's still tough to imagine being able to trust him in lineups during the fantasy playoffs. His Week 14 through 16 opponents rank 19th, 1st and 10th in Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed to WRs.

The NFL on Wednesday conditionally reinstated Browns WR Josh Gordon. "Effective immediately, Gordon may join the Browns to attend meetings, engage in conditioning work and individual workouts," the league stated in a release. "Subject to compliance with clinical and other requirements, he will be placed on the Commissioner's Exempt list and be permitted to practice with the team beginning on Monday, November 20. Beginning Monday, November 27, Gordon will be eligible at the team's discretion to return to active status or to remain on the Commissioner's Exempt list for an additional week before returning to active status." The key date here is Nov. 27. We'll see if the Browns want to activate him after Thanksgiving. If they do, he'll be eligible to play the final 5 games -- final 4 of most fantasy seasons. That would return him for a tough run that includes road games at the Chargers (Week 13), Bears (Week 16 and Steelers (Week 17), plus a home date with Baltimore (Week 15). Gordon will be worth a shot in many leagues, but don't go nuts over him, especially in an offense with the league's worst QB situation.

The Patriots and QB Brian Hoyer have agreed to a 3-year deal. He slides back in as QB Tom Brady's backup, a role he served from 2009 to 2011. Hoyer, of course, remains off the fantasy radar.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that WR Josh Gordon is set to meet with the NFL on Wednesday and that "reinstatement could soon be near." Gordon last played in a regular-season game in December 2014. As we've seen with Martavis Bryant this year, it's impossible to know what kind of impact such a long layoff will have. Gordon is still only 26, though, and led the league with 1,646 receiving yards back in 2013. Don't go dropping anyone of value for him, but he's worth adding if you have an open roster space.

The 49ers have released QB Brian Hoyer. He was 3rd on the depth chart after the big trade for QB Jimmy Garoppolo. Hoyer might latch on with the Patriots, who need a backup QB after shipping away both Garoppolo and Jacoby Brissett this year. Hoyer spent the first 3 seasons of his career in New England.

It looks like the rain will stay away for most of today's Chargers-Patriots game. Winds of 16-17 mph are expected, though, with occasional gusts over 40. That could impact deep passes and kicks. We're not adjusting projections for this game, but keep the weather in mind if deciding between 2 similarly ranked players.

The Browns have ruled CB Jason McCourty (ankle) out for the 2nd straight game. That leaves Cleveland without its top cover guy and enhances the matchup for Vikings WR Stefon Diggs.

Ravens TE Ben Watson (knee) is active for tonight's game against the Dolphins. He didn't practice on Tuesday or Wednesday, making him a risky Week 8 fantasy play.

Ravens TE Ben Watson (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game against the Dolphins. He's been on the injury report for most of the season, but it's worth noting that he didn't practice on Tuesday or Wednesday. You'll need to check back around 7 pm ET tomorrow to see if Watson will give it a go vs. Miami.

Colts OLB John Simon left Sunday's loss to the Jaguars early with a shoulder stinger, and it sounds significant. HC Chuck Pagano told reporters Monday that Simon will "miss some time." That at least puts a key pass rusher and edge run defender out for this weekend's trip to Cincinnati.

Seahawks DE Michael Bennett is active for today's game against the Giants. He's dealing with a plantar fascia injury that's sure to be painful, but Bennett played nearly his usual full snap allotment even in the Week 5 game in which he got hurt. Use him as normal in IDP leagues.

Browns CB Jason McCourty (ankle) is inactive for today's game against the Titans. That helps the fantasy outlook for Tennessee WR Rishard Matthews. McCourty has graded out as 1 of the league's top cover corners this season, according to Pro Football Focus. S Jabrill Peppers (toe) is also inactive for the game.

Browns CB Jason McCourty is questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans. He suffered an ankle injury in Thursday's practice and then sat out Friday's workout completely. If he misses the game, it'll help the fantasy outlook for Titans WR Rishard Matthews. Even if McCourty plays, he's not likely to be at full effectiveness.
