Patriots RB Rex Burkhead (ribs) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Jets after a limited week of practice. He’s expected to play but can’t be trusted in fantasy lineups. We’ll be keeping a close eye on his role, though.
Patriots QB Tom Brady (shoulder) is not listed on the final Week 6 injury report. He didn’t practice Wednesday, was limited Thursday but then put in a full workout Friday. The injury is to his non-throwing shoulder, and there’s been nothing to suggest that it’ll be an issue on Sunday vs. the Jets. Brady remains an elite QB1.
Falcons WR Mohamed Sanu (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Now 2 weeks into a 2-3 week timetable, consider him questionable for Week 7. His absence on Sunday makes WR Taylor Gabriel and TE Austin Hooper more intriguing fantasy fliers.
Patriots QB Tom Brady (shoulder) will "definitely" play against the Jets on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Brady officially didn't practice on Wednesday but was spotted on the field in the early portion of the workout open to the media. Per Rapoport, Brady is dealing with a sprained AC joint to the non-throwing shoulder. It adds some risk to his Week 6 outlook, but he remains a must-start in season-long leagues.
Patriots QB Tom Brady was on the practice field on Wednesday. He's dealing with a minor injury to his non-throwing shoulder but doesn't appear to be in any danger of missing this weekend's game against the Jets. Brady is our #1 ranked QB for Week 6.
Falcons WR Mohamed Sanu (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. It's not a good sign coming out of the Week 5 bye. It's also not a surprise, though, after ESPN's Vaughn McClure reported that Sanu would miss 2-3 weeks. He seems unlikely to play against the Dolphins on Sunday. That'd figure to mean more action for WR Taylor Gabriel and TE Austin Hooper.
Patriots QB Tom Brady is dealing with an injury to his left shoulder. (That's his non-throwing side.) According to NBC Sports' Mike Giardi, Brady originally suffered the injury in Week 4 against Carolina and aggravated it last Thursday night vs. Tampa Bay. An MRI on the shoulder came back clean. Brady didn't practice on Tuesday but is fully expected to play this weekend against the Jets. We'll keep an eye on his status throughout the week. Brady has already taken 16 sacks this year -- 1 more than all last season.
As expected, Browns OLB Jamie Collins (concussion) is inactive for today's game against the Jets. He did reportedly clear the league concussion protocol this week, though, so a Week 6 return seems likely.
Browns OLB Jamie Collins is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Jets, despite clearing the league's concussion protocol Friday. It's obviously good that he has progressed to that point, but worrisome that Collins is about to miss his 3rd straight game because of a concussion. We'll see where this situation goes.
Patriots RB Rex Burkhead (ribs) is out for Thursday night's game against the Bucs. That's a downgrade from last week, when he was listed as doubtful before being declared inactive. We'll see if Burkhead can get ready for Week 6 against the Jets.
ESPN's Vaughn McClure reports that Falcons WR Mohamed Sanu is expected to miss 2-3 weeks with his hamstring injury. Atlanta has a Week 5 bye, so Sanu figures to miss a game or 2. He averaged a healthy 7 targets per game over the first 3, so his absence will create extra opportunities for guys like WR Taylor Gabriel and TE Austin Hooper.
Falcons WR Mohamed Sanu is out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Bills with a hamstring injury. With WR Julio Jones also out, Atlanta is down to Taylor Gabriel and Justin Hardy as the top 2 WRs.
Ravens TE Ben Watson was checked for a concussion in the 1st half of Sunday's game against the Steelers but was cleared. He's back for the 2nd half.
Patriots LB Dont'a Hightower (knee) is active for today's game against the Panthers, his 1st action since the 1st half of the Week 1 loss to the Chiefs. It's tough to project Hightower's playing time in his return game, especially with his team favored by 9.5 points today. He makes for a risky IDP option at best. Hightower's return means that IDP owners shouldn't trust Elandon Roberts' playing time either. Kyle Van Noy was the only 100% playing-time LB in Week 1 (with Hightower active).
Ravens TE Ben Watson (calf) is active for today’s game against the Steelers. He was reportedly dealing with swelling in that calf earlier this week. Watson is a risky Week 4 fantasy play.
Patriots RB Rex Burkhead (ribs) is inactive for today’s game against the Panthers. He returned to a limited practice on Friday and has a shot to play this coming Thursday vs. Tampa. Mike Gillislee and James White will continue to handle the majority of New England’s backfield work today.
Ravens TE Ben Watson (calf) is expected to play against the Steelers today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Watson only practiced on Friday after dealing with swelling in his calf earlier in the week, per Rapoport. There's obviously some additional risk this week with the 36-year-old.
Patriots LB Dont'a Hightower (knee) is questionable once again for Sunday's game against the Panthers. Get used to it if you hope to use him in IDP lineups. We'll check his status Sunday.
The Browns hav ruled OLB Jamie Collins out for the 2nd straight game because of a concussion. We'll see if he can clear the league protocol for Week 5. We've removed Collins from the Week 4 IDP rankings and bumped up MLB Joe Schobert. DE Myles Garrett, meanwhile, might see his 1st regular-season action. He's questionable after limited practices Thursday and Friday. Garrett would play just a limited role if active, but that would be a big step back from his high ankle sprain.
Patriots RB Rex Burkhead (ribs) returned to a limited practice on Friday but is listed as doubtful for this weekend’s game against the Panthers. He won’t play in that one but has a shot to return for Week 5.
