Buccaneers DT Gerald McCoy (foot) is active for today's game against the Chargers. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, though, before putting in only a limited workout Friday. McCoy carries risk and moved down our DL rankings during the week.
Seahawks DE Michael Bennett (knee) is questionable for Sunday night's game against the Panthers. He was limited Thursday and Friday after a full practice Wednesday. "We rested him a little bit to make sure that we don’t overdo him in back-to-back days so he’ll be ready to play,” HC Pete Carroll told the team website Friday. The status is a reminder that Bennett's coming back from knee surgery and a 5-game absence and could be limited this week. Check the Week 13 DL rankings to see where we're willing to play him.
Buccaneers DT Gerald McCoy (foot) is questionable for Sunday's game at San Diego. McCoy said earlier in the week he'd play, but he missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before putting in a limited workout Friday. He was also reportedly in a walking boot earlier in the week. McCoy seems iffy even if he plays. We've moved him down the Week 13 DL rankings and will check on his game status Sunday.
Cowboys DE DeMarcus Lawrence (back) is active for tonight's game against the Vikings. He entered the night questionable but has played through the issue for several weeks and should be fine to use in an upside matchup. S Barry Church (forearm) is also active after making his return to the roster this week from a forearm fracture. He's stepping back into the role that J.J. Wilcox (inactive) had been filling for him. Dallas will also have D-linemen Jack Crawford and David Irving active. Neither is much of an IDP option.
Cowboys DE Demarcus Lawrence is active for today's game against Washington. He entered the day questionable but never actually appeared in doubt for the game. Use him as you normally would in IDP leagues.
Cowboys DE Demarcus Lawrence (back) is active for today's game against the Ravens. Use him as you normally would in your IDP league.
Cowboys DE Demarcus Lawrence (back) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens. He put in limited practices all week, though, so we'd bet on him being ready. We'll check on his status Sunday.
The Vikings have signed K Kai Forbath to replace K Blair Walsh. Forbath has drilled 84.1% of his FGs across 4 NFL seasons. He's not much of a fantasy option, though, on Minnesota's 32nd-ranked offense.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones confirmed after Sunday's win in Pittsburgh that QB Dak Prescott will remain the starter going forward, despite QB Tony Romo (back) being cleared to play. "We're going to let this decision in this case make itself," Jones said. "Dak's got a hot hand and we're going to go with it." The rookie turned in another brilliant performance on Sunday, completing 22 of 32 passes for 319 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INTs. He's up to 14 TDs vs. 2 INTs on the year and has tossed multiple TDs in 4 straight.
Cowboys DE Demarcus Lawrence (back) is active for today's game at Pittsburgh. He has yet to deliver any IDP value since returning from his season-opening suspension, but his presence helps the D (which still isn't a good play this week).
Raiders WR Amari Cooper (back) is active for tonight's game against the Broncos. He was limited in practice all week, but we’ve heard nothing to suggest that the back will be an issue. Denver is missing CB Aqib Talib, which upgrades Cooper’s matchup.
Raiders WR Amari Cooper (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the Broncos. He was limited in practice all week, but we've seen nothing to suggest that he's in danger of missing the game or even that he'll be impacted by the back issue. Cooper is safe to keep in fantasy lineups, although he's more of a WR3 vs. the league's best secondary.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Seahawks DE Michael Bennett will have surgery Monday to repair cartilage in his right knee. Bennett's expected to miss 2-3 weeks, which would at least cost him matchups with the Bills and Patriots. DE Frank Clark saw increased playing time at New Orleans on Sunday, delivering 6 tackles (3 solo) and a sack. You'll find Clark in this week's IDP Free Agent Focus.
The Seahawks have ruled DE Michael Bennett (knee) out for Sunday's game at New Orleans. Bennett suffered the injury back in Week 6 and sat out practice this week, but he started last week's game at Arizona and played 81 snaps. So this comes as a surprise. DE Frank Clark should see significantly more snaps in Bennett's absence, though the Saints matchup isn't great for sack upside. ESPN's Sheil Kapadia reports that Bennett will get his knee checked Monday for a cartilage issue that might require surgery. Seattle will also miss S Kam Chancellor (groin) this weekend for the 3rd straight game, leaving Kelcie McCray to start in his place again.
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott will start against the Browns in Week 9, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. We already know that the rookie is starting this Sunday night's game against the Eagles, but QB Tony Romo (back) was thought to have a chance to return for Week 9. That won't happen. Dallas is clearly taking it slowly with the 36-year-old, which is easy to do with Prescott playing so well.
Buccaneers DT Gerald McCoy (calf) is active today against the 49ers after missing last week's game. That helps a Bucs D that carries loads of upside.
Seahawks HC Pete Carroll said Monday that DE Michael Bennett is feeling "pretty good" and that his "tests came back clear" after Bennett hurt his right knee Sunday, according to the Seattle Times. It doesn't seem like Bennett is heading for any further missed time, but we'll keep an eye on his practice participation this week.
Seahawks DE Michael Bennett left Sunday's win over the Falcons with a right knee injury after taking a low block from Atlanta OT Jake Matthews that left Bennett cussing as he recounted the play after the game. Bennett did say that he doesn't think the injury is major and that he expects to play in Week 7, according to ESPN's Sheil Kapadia. "A little sore, but we think he's OK," HC Pete Carroll added. "A little sore knee. We'll see what happens here in the next couple days."
The Cowboys on Saturday activated DE Demarcus Lawrence following his 4-game suspension. He's expected to play Sunday against the Bengals, though it's not yet clear how big his immediate role will be. IDP owners should hold off for this week at least
Bucs DT Gerald McCoy is doubtful for Monday night's game after his calf injury kept him out of practice all week. His likely absence should put Clinton McDonald in more playmaking situations against an iffy Panthers O-line
