ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Packers WR Davante Adams (toe) won't play against the Chiefs tonight but adds that Adams is expected back for Week 9. We'll track his practice participation this coming week for clues on how close Adams is to 100%, but he figures to return to must-start status.
Packers WR Davante Adams (toe) is listed as doubtful for Sunday night's game against the Chiefs. It's at least an upgrade over the past 3 weeks, when Adams was ruled out on Friday. He seemingly has a shot to return for Week 9. With Adams out last week, the snaps rates for Packers WRs went: Allen Lazard 84%, Jake Kumerow 71%, Geronimo Allison 55%, Marquez Valdes-Scantling 34%. Allison and MVS are healthier now, but it's uncertain if they'll play more on Sunday night. We'd try to avoid this situation in what figures to be a run-leaning game plan for Green Bay.
Packers WR Davante Adams (toe) has stretched with his teammates at the start of practice on Wednesday and Thursday before heading inside to do rehab work. "I’m a little limited right now,” he said admitted Thursday. “But for the most part I can do a lot of different footwork stuff. It’s just the full-speed routes right now that are a little tougher for me. So I’m trying to fight through that, but I’m in a really good spot right now. Just got to keep letting it heal, because it’s not fully healed yet. Keep letting it heal and just be smart about it.” Adams doesn't sound like a guy set to return for Sunday night's game against the Chiefs, but we'll get another update on his status this afternoon.
Packers WR Davante Adams (toe) didn't practice on Wednesday. He was seen stretching prior to practice, and HC Matt LaFleur suggested that Adams could be a game-time decision for Sunday night's showdown with the Chiefs. We'll continue to monitor Adams' progress, but you shouldn't be counting on him in Week 8 fantasy lineups right now.
Packers WR Allen Lazard will "work with the starters" against the Raiders today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison are both active, but neither guy is at 100%. It sounds like Lazard will at least operate as Green Bay's #3 WR -- and might see even more action if MVS and Allison are limited. That said, consider Lazard just a WR4 flier today with the uncertainty surrounding the situation.
Packers DT Kenny Clark (calf) is active for today's game against the Raiders. He entered questionable but looks fine for normal IDP use.
Packers WRs Geronimo Allison (concussion, chest) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (knee, ankle) are active for today’s game against the Raiders. It’s a plus matchup, but both guys figure to be operating at less than 100%. Their availability is obviously good news for QB Aaron Rodgers, though.
Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (knee, ankle) is "hopeful" to play against the Raiders today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. MVS was able to play through these injuries last week but only got in a limited practice on Friday. He won't be at 100% if he suits up, leaving him as a risky WR3.
Packers DT Kenny Clark is questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders with a calf injury that popped up during the practice week. Clark was a full participant Wednesday before sitting out Thursday and then returning to a limited Friday workout. We'll see about Clark's status Sunday morning.
Packers WR Davante Adams (toe) is out for Sunday’s game against the Raiders. He didn’t practice all week and still has no timetable for return. WR Geronimo Allison (concussion, chest) didn’t practice all week and is listed as doubtful. He won’t play Sunday. WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (knee, ankle) is listed as questionable after only getting in a limited practice on Friday. He has a shot to play this weekend but wouldn’t be at 100%. Jake Kumerow and Allen Lazard are Green Bay’s top 2 healthy WRs. You’re probably best off avoiding this entire situation in Week 7 fantasy lineups.
Green Bay's top 3 WRs -- Davante Adams (toe), Marquez Valdes-Scantling (knee, ankle) and Geronimo Allison (concussion, chest) -- remained sidelined on Thursday. We still believe MVS has a good shot to play this weekend against the Raiders, but Adams and Allison seem doubtful. We just moved Aaron Rodgers down the Week 7 QB rankings.
Packers WRs Davante Adams (toe), Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle, knee) and Geronimo Allison (concussion, chest) did not practice on Wednesday. MVS was able to return from his injuries this past Monday night, so we're expecting him to play this weekend against the Raiders. Adams and Allison seem truly questionable. Next up on the depth chart are Jake Kumerow, Allen Lazard and Darrius Shepherd.
Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling left in the 2nd quarter of Monday night's game against the Lions after apparently hurting his left knee. MVS was blocking and had a defensive player roll into the back of his leg. We'll keep an eye on his status.
Update: MVS returned to the field for the start of the 2nd half.
Packers RB Jamaal Williams (concussion) put in a full week of practice and isn't listed on the final Week 6 injury report. He'll return for Monday night's game against the Lions. Williams had basically worked himself into an even timeshare with Aaron Jones before the concussion. Then Jones busted out for 182 yards and 4 TDs with Williams out last week. We're guessing that earns Jones lead duties on Monday night -- but Williams' return still puts a dent in his Week 6 outlook.
Packers WR Davante Adams (toe) has been ruled out for Monday night's game against the Lions. He didn't practice all week and admitted on Thursday that his turf toe is a "major injury." Adams shouldn't be considered a lock to return for Week 7. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Geronimo Allison and Jake Kumerow will again serve as Green Bay’s top 3 WRs on Monday night.
Packers WR Davante Adams "didn't sound optimistic" about his chances of playing Monday night against the Lions when he spoke to reporters on Thursday, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky. "It doesn't feel how I want it to feel at the moment," Adams said. Per Demovsky, the team is leery of rushing Adams back and having him aggravate the turf toe. He should be on fantasy benches right now.
Packers RB Jamaal Williams (concussion) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. That puts him on track to return for Monday night's game against the Lions. Williams had basically worked himself into an even timeshare with Aaron Jones before the concussion. We're guessing Jones operates as the lead back on Monday night after his huge Week 5 -- but Williams' return certainly adds risk to Jones' outlook.
Packers WR Davante Adams (toe) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice. Consider him no better than 50/50 to return for Monday night's game against the Lions. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.
Packers RB Jamaal Williams (concussion) is out for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. Rookie Dexter Williams figures to step into the #2 RB role — but Aaron Jones should get feature-back usage in Dallas. He registered an 84% snap rate, 13 carries and 7 targets last week.
Packers WR Davante Adams (toe) is out for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. His injury is reportedly minor, but he didn’t practice all week and shouldn’t be considered a lock to return for Week 6. Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison will operate as Green Bay’s top 2 WRs vs. Dallas.
