Colts RB Marlon Mack (hand) graduated to a full practice on Thursday after Wednesday's limited workout. He's trending toward returning for this weekend's game against the Bucs. We wonder if Mack's pass-catching ability will be impacted by the hand injury. And it's a tough matchup on the ground. Consider Mack a borderline RB2 for Week 14.
Colts K Adam Vinatieri (knee) is "unlikely" to play against the Bucs this weekend, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. "You have to wonder whether perhaps we've seen a legendary kicker's final attempt in the NFL," Pelissero adds. Chase McLaughlin will kick for the Colts at least this weekend -- and maybe beyond.
The Colts have signed K Chase McLaughlin, who's made 13 of 17 FG tries with the Chargers and 49ers this season. It's noteworthy considering K Adam Vinatieri has struggled all year and was limited in Wednesday's practice with a knee issue. We'll keep an eye on this, but try to avoid the situation in Week 14 fantasy lineups.
Colts WR Parris Campbell (hand) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, putting him on track to return for this weekend's game against the Bucs. It'll be the rookie's 1st action since Week 9. We wouldn't trust him in fantasy lineups, despite Sunday's plus matchup. But Campbell's return helps QB Jacoby Brissett, who is still missing WR T.Y. Hilton and TE Eric Ebron.
Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. Fantasy owners can't be counting on him to play against the Bucs this weekend. That'd again leave Zach Pascal as Indy's #1 WR in the plus matchup.
Colts RB Marlon Mack (hand) is expected back at practice on Wednesday, HC Frank Reich said. We'll monitor Mack's progress over the next few days, but it looks like he has a shot to return for Sunday's game against the Bucs. Mack would be a RB2 in that tough matchup.
Colts HC Frank Reich said Monday that he's "hopeful" WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) is able to return this season. That doesn't exactly give us the warm and fuzzies. At the very least, fantasy owners should plan on being without Hilton again in Week 14.
Colts WR Chester Rogers will likely miss the rest of the season after fracturing his knee in Sunday's loss to the Titans, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. That leaves Zach Pascal, Marcus Johnson and Ashton Dulin as Indianapolis' healthy WRs. We'll see if T.Y. Hilton (calf) and Parris Campbell (hand) can make it back for Week 14. The WR corps has an excellent matchup against the Bucs on Sunday.
Colts WR Chester Rogers was knocked out of Sunday's game against the Titans with a knee injury. Already without WRs T.Y. Hilton, Parris Campbell and Devin Funchess, the Colts are are down to WRs Zach Pascal, Marcus Johnson and rookie Ashton Dulin.
Colts S Khari Willis (concussion) and CB Rock Ya-Sin (ankle) are active for today's game against the Titans. That's been a low-upside/low-floor matchup for DB scoring, but the players are available if you need them.
The Colts are not planning to activate WR Devin Funchess (collarbone) from the IR, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "The plate inserted into the break did not work out as hoped," Rapoport adds. "He hasn’t healed enough." Funchess is set to hit free agency this offseason. The Colts will move forward with Zach Pascal, Marcus Johnson and Chester Rogers as their healthy WRs. We'll see when T.Y. Hilton (calf) and Parris Campbell (hand) are able to return.
Colts WR T.Y. Hilton suffered a setback in practice with his calf injury, and the team has ruled him out for Sunday's game against the Titans. We'll see about his outlook beyond Week 13. Losing Hilton hurts the outlook for QB Jacoby Brissett, who already wasn't a strong fantasy option for the week.
Colts HC Frank Reich said Monday that RB Marlon Mack (hand) won't play against the Titans this weekend. RB Jonathan Williams surprisingly played a workhorse role with Mack out this past Thursday night, handling 26 carries and 3 catches. He'll be a volume-based RB2 in Week 13 fantasy lineups.
Colts TE Eric Ebron needs surgery on both of his ankles and will be placed on IR, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Ebron is averaging 4.7 targets and 2.8 catches per game. A big chunk of that work now figures to go to TE Jack Doyle, who has a shot at top-12 production the rest of the way. TE Mo Alie-Cox should also see a bump in playing time. He's worth monitoring and perhaps adding now in deep fantasy leagues.
Colts CB Rock Ya-Sin (ankle) is inactive for tonight's game against the Texans. Indy gets CB Pierre Desir back, however, after 4 games lost to a hamstring injury.
Colts RB Jordan Wilkins (ankle) is officially active for tonight’s game against the Texans. RB Jonathan Williams is expected to draw the start, leaving Wilkins as just a fantasy flier.
Colts TE Eric Ebron (ankle) is active for tonight’s game against the Texans. He was listed as a full participant on Wednesday, so we’re expecting him to be available for his usual role in this one.
Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) is active for tonight’s game against the Texans. It’ll be his 1st action since Week 8. That obviously adds risk to Hilton’s fantasy stock. But Houston ranks 26th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to WRs. And Hilton has averaged 6.3 catches, 129 yards and .3 TDs in his last 3 games vs. the division rival.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Colts RB Jonathan Williams will start tonight's game against the Texans. Williams has been "killing the Colts' 1st-team defense" in practice throughout the year, Rapoport adds. This, of course, doesn't mean that RB Jordan Wilkins won't be involved. And RB Nyheim Hines will continue to play in passing situations. But it does make Williams the best fantasy bet of the trio.
The Colts have ruled S Khari Willis (concussion) out for Thursday night's game against the Texans. That should mean more time for Clayton Geathers back on the field, but Indianapolis has limited his playing time at every turn. S George Odum figures to split snaps with him to some degree. CB Rock Ya-Sin (ankle) is questionable vs. Houston. We'll update his status Thursday evening.
