Shark Bites

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton will return to practice on Thursday. How his calf holds up to the workout figures to go a long way toward determining whether he'll play against the Saints on Monday night. We'll keep an eye on him, but fantasy owners still shouldn't be banking on Hilton in Week 15 lineups.

Colts WR Parris Campbell has been placed on the IR after breaking his foot in Sunday's loss to the Colts. It ends a rookie season that also saw Campbell deal with hamstring, hernia and hand injuries. We'll track his rehab this offseason. The Colts are down to WRs Zach Pascal, Marcus Johnson and Ashton Dulin.

Colts K Adam Vinatieri will undergo surgery on his injured knee and be placed on IR, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. This could be the end of the line for the 46-year-old, who's missed 8 FGs and 6 XPs this season. Chase McLaughlin will continue kicking for the Colts.

Colts S Malik Hooker (foot) and CB Rock Ya-Sin (ankle) are active for today's game against the Buccaneers. Neither is a high-level IDP, but there's upside to facing Tampa Bay QB Jameis Winston.

The Colts and TE Jack Doyle have agreed to a 3-year, $21 million extension that can reach $24 million with incentives. It's a significant investment and makes it unlikely that Indy brings back TE Eric Ebron, who will be a free agent this offseason. Doyle has been his usual steady self this year and is averaging a career-high 10.5 yards per catch. He'll have TE1 potential in 2020 depending on what else the Colts do at the position this offseason.

The Colts have ruled CB Kenny Moore (ankle) out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. As Indy's lead slot corner, Moore would have been in primary coverage on Bucs WR Chris Godwin. Moore's absence makes the matchup much more favorable for Godwin.

Colts WR Parris Campbell (hand) put in a full week of practice and will return for Sunday’s game against the Bucs. The rookie has been out since Week 9 and certainly isn’t a safe Week 14 fantasy play. But Campbell tallied 13 targets and 3 carries in 2 games without T.Y. Hilton earlier this year. And the matchup is right. He’s at least in play for DFS tournaments.

Colts RB Marlon Mack (hand) isn’t listed on the final injury report and will return for Sunday’s game against the Bucs. HC Frank Reich said Friday that he doesn’t expect to have Mack on a pitch count — but added that there will be “rotational usage” in the backfield. Mack comes with elevated risk in Week 14 fantasy lineups, especially vs. a tough Bucs run defense.

Colts K Adam Vinatieri (knee) is out for Sunday’s game against the Bucs. Recently signed Chase McLaughlin will kick in Vinatieri’s place.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bucs. He admitted earlier this week that he's not a lock to return this season. Zach Pascal gets another game as Indianapolis' #1 WR and is an upside WR3 play vs. Tampa's league-worst WR defense.

Colts RB Marlon Mack (hand) graduated to a full practice on Thursday after Wednesday's limited workout. He's trending toward returning for this weekend's game against the Bucs. We wonder if Mack's pass-catching ability will be impacted by the hand injury. And it's a tough matchup on the ground. Consider Mack a borderline RB2 for Week 14.

Colts K Adam Vinatieri (knee) is "unlikely" to play against the Bucs this weekend, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. "You have to wonder whether perhaps we've seen a legendary kicker's final attempt in the NFL," Pelissero adds. Chase McLaughlin will kick for the Colts at least this weekend -- and maybe beyond.

The Colts have signed K Chase McLaughlin, who's made 13 of 17 FG tries with the Chargers and 49ers this season. It's noteworthy considering K Adam Vinatieri has struggled all year and was limited in Wednesday's practice with a knee issue. We'll keep an eye on this, but try to avoid the situation in Week 14 fantasy lineups.

Colts WR Parris Campbell (hand) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, putting him on track to return for this weekend's game against the Bucs. It'll be the rookie's 1st action since Week 9. We wouldn't trust him in fantasy lineups, despite Sunday's plus matchup. But Campbell's return helps QB Jacoby Brissett, who is still missing WR T.Y. Hilton and TE Eric Ebron.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. Fantasy owners can't be counting on him to play against the Bucs this weekend. That'd again leave Zach Pascal as Indy's #1 WR in the plus matchup.

Colts RB Marlon Mack (hand) is expected back at practice on Wednesday, HC Frank Reich said. We'll monitor Mack's progress over the next few days, but it looks like he has a shot to return for Sunday's game against the Bucs. Mack would be a RB2 in that tough matchup.

Colts HC Frank Reich said Monday that he's "hopeful" WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) is able to return this season. That doesn't exactly give us the warm and fuzzies. At the very least, fantasy owners should plan on being without Hilton again in Week 14.

Colts WR Chester Rogers will likely miss the rest of the season after fracturing his knee in Sunday's loss to the Titans, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. That leaves Zach Pascal, Marcus Johnson and Ashton Dulin as Indianapolis' healthy WRs. We'll see if T.Y. Hilton (calf) and Parris Campbell (hand) can make it back for Week 14. The WR corps has an excellent matchup against the Bucs on Sunday.

Colts WR Chester Rogers was knocked out of Sunday's game against the Titans with a knee injury. Already without WRs T.Y. Hilton, Parris Campbell and Devin Funchess, the Colts are are down to WRs Zach Pascal, Marcus Johnson and rookie Ashton Dulin.

Colts S Khari Willis (concussion) and CB Rock Ya-Sin (ankle) are active for today's game against the Titans. That's been a low-upside/low-floor matchup for DB scoring, but the players are available if you need them.
