Shark Bites

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore is questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers. He made it back to a limited practice Friday after missing the previous 2 days with the calf injury that cost Lattimore the Week 11 game at Tampa. Even if he plays, Lattimore looks like a risky bet to play a full game. Find a safer option for the DB/CB slots on your IDP rosters.

49ers WRs Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) and Deebo Samuel (shoulder) are listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the Packers. Both guys got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday and are expected to play vs. Green Bay. Sanders comes with risk, though, after he was unable to make it through last week's game. Samuel returned from his injury and produced, so he's the safer bet.

49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) put in a limited practice on Thursday. He should suit up for Sunday night's game against the Packers but will be a risk/reward fantasy play after being unable to finish last week's game against the Cardinals.

49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) is active for today’s game against the Cardinals. He didn’t practice all week, but we haven’t heard anything about him being limited today. Rib injuries tend to be pain-tolerance issues. Sanders comes with added risk in Week 11 fantasy lineups but also boasts plenty of upside against an Arizona defense he beat for 112 yards and a score just 2 weeks ago.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that 49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders is expected to play today against the Cardinals. He missed practice all week with a rib injury that obviously adds risk. There's also plenty of upside to the matchup. WR Deebo Samuel remains a solid option even with Sanders in the lineup. The Niners will be without RB Matt Breida (ankle) and TE George Kittle (knee, ankle), each of whom entered the weekend doubtful.

The Saints have ruled CB Marshon Lattimore (thigh) out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. That's good news for Mike Evans, who caught 0 passes among 3 targets in their earlier meeting.

49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. He didn't practice all week, but the team is evidently still holding out hope that he'll be able to give it a go. Niners-Cards doesn't kick off until 4:05 pm ET, but we'll look for an update on Sanders' status Sunday morning. His absence would leave Deebo Samuel as San Francisco's #1 WR.

49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) didn't practice on Wednesday. His injury reportedly isn't serious, but HC Kyle Shanahan labeled him a game-time decision for this weekend's tilt with the Cardinals. Sanders' absence would leave rookie Deebo Samuel as San Francisco's #1 WR.

49ers HC Kyle Shanahan said Tuesday that WR Emmanuel Sanders is "day-to-day" with a rib cartilage injury. Shanny labeled him a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt with the Cardinals (despite the game being 5 days away). We'll keep an eye on Sanders' status throughout the week, but it at least sounds like he has a shot to play vs. Arizona.

Niners WR Emmanuel Sanders left in the 1st half on Monday night's game against the Seahawks with a rib injury and is questionable to return.

Update: Sanders did not return. We'll look for updates on his status.

Giants CB Janoris Jenkins sustained a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Jets, according to multiple reports. The team gets a Week 11 bye, so we'll see about Jenkins' status heading into Week 12.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore left in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's loss to the Falcons with a thigh injury and did not return. Lattimore could be seen jogging on the sideline and riding a stationary bike, trying to make his way back. We'll see if that means New Orleans' lead corner can make it back for next Sunday's trip to Tampa Bay. If he does, Lattimore will be in a good spot for IDP production. If he doesn't, the matchup gets much better for Buccaneers WR Mike Evans.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (ankle) practiced all week and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’ll return for Sunday’s smash spot at home for the Falcons. Kamara might cede a bit more work to RB Latavius Murray than he was before the injury, but he remains a high-end RB1. Murray is in the RB3/Flex mix in this week's plus matchup.

Saints WR Tre’Quan Smith (ankle) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’s been out since Week 5 but should step back in as New Orleans’ #3 WR. That gives him some DFS tournament appeal in a pristine matchup against the Falcons.

Saints TE Jared Cook (ankle) was a full-go in practice all week and will play against the Falcons this weekend. Cook will step back in as New Orleans’ lead pass-catching TE and boasts lots of TD upside with the Saints sporting a huge 32.5-point implied total.

Saints HC Sean Payton confirmed that RB Alvin Kamara (knee, ankle) is expected to return for this weekend's game against the Falcons. That's been the belief for a while now, so it was surprising to see Kamara limited in Wednesday's practice. He might cede a bit more work to Latavius Murray on Sunday, but Kamara is right back to RB1 status.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (ankle, knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He's expected to return for this weekend's game against the Falcons, but it'd be nice to see him get in a full workout on Thursday and/or Friday.

Saints RB Jared Coof (ankle) was a full-go in Wednesday's practice, putting him on track to return for this weekend's game against the Falcons. Atlanta actually ranks 14th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to TEs, but Cook still brings exciting upside in Week 10 fantasy lineups with the Saints sporting a huge 32-point implied total.

11:10am EDT 10/27/19

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (ankle, knee) is inactive for today’s game against the Cardinals. He’s expected to return following New Orleans’ Week 9 bye. Latavius Murray will again operate as the Saints’ feature back today. He turned 32 touches into 150 yards and 2 TDs last week.

11:10am EDT 10/27/19

Saints QB Drew Brees (thumb) is officially active for today’s game against the Cardinals. There’s some added risk here in his 1st game since tearing a ligament in his throwing thumb, but Brees has plenty of upside vs. Arizona’s 29th-ranked QB defense.
