Saints HC Sean Payton revealed after Sunday's win over the Jaguars that RB Alvin Kamara "tweaked his knee" in addition to the "swollen ankle" that made him questionable for the game. Saints Wire reports that Payton "doesn't appear worried" about Kamara's status for Week 7, but the RB did play a season-low 59% of the snaps against Jacksonville. We'll watch his status leading up to Sunday's game at Chicago.

NFL Network's James Palmer reports that Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders' knee injury "doesn’t appear to be at all serious." NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that there's "optimism" that Sanders will be available for Thursday night's game against the Chiefs. We'll keep a close eye on him over the next few days.

Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders is out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Titans with a knee injury. We'll look for an update on the severity.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (ankle) is active for today’s game against the Jaguars. He tweaked his ankle on Thursday and didn’t practice on Friday. But Kamara participated in Saturday’s walkthrough — and we haven’t heard that he’ll be limited today. He remains a must-start in season-long league vs. a Jacksonville defense that just got smoked by Christian McCaffrey last week.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara is expected to play today against the Jaguars, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Kamara hurt an ankle in practice this week and sat out Friday's workout, but he participated in Saturday's walkthrough. We'll get his official game status around 11:30 a.m. ET.

Saints WR Tre’Quan Smith (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars. Ted Ginn and Austin Carr will again serve as the #2 and #3 WRs — but WR Michael Thomas and TE Jared Cook are the only viable fantasy plays in New Orleans’ passing game.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game against the Jaguars. After being added to the injury report on Thursday, he didn’t practice on Friday. So it looks like Kamara is in real danger of missing Sunday’s game. We’ll get his official game status by noon ET on Sunday. If Kamara is out, Latavius Murray will be a solid fantasy play as New Orleans’ lead back.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara was added to the injury report on Thursday as limited with an ankle. That's all we know at this point. We'll get another update on Kamara tomorrow. Latavius Murray would step in as New Orleans' lead back if Kamara can't play agains the Jaguars on Sunday.

Saints WR Tre'Quan Smith suffered an ankle injury in the 2nd half of Sunday's game against the Bucs and is officially questionable to return. He missed Weeks 3 and 4 with an ankle injury, although it's unclear if this is related.

Saints WR Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) practiced all week and isn't listed on the final injury report. He'll return for Sunday's game against the Bucs after missing the past 2 weeks. Smith should slot back in as the #3 WR behind Michael Thomas and Ted Ginn, leaving him as a weak fantasy play in this Teddy Bridgewater-led passing game.

Saints DT Sheldon Rankins is active for tonight's game against the Cowboys. It will mark his 1st game back since suffering a torn Achilles' tendon in last year's playoff victory over the Eagles. We'll see how much playing time Rankins is ready for. He remained limited in practice this week.

The forecast for today's Jaguars-Broncos game calls for sustained winds around 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. That's more than enough to impact the passing and kicking games. No one expected this to be a fantasy bonanza anyways. You can stick with RBs Leonard Fournette, Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman, but we'd try to avoid the QBs, WRs and Ks in this game.

Saints WR Tre’Quan Smith (ankle) is out for Sunday night’s game against the Cowboys. Ted Ginn and Austin Carr will again serve as New Orleans’ #2 and #3 WRs, but neither is a fantasy option with Teddy Bridgewater under center.

Saints WR Tre’Quan Smith (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks. He didn’t practice all week and might be looking at a multi-game absence. Austin Carr, Deonte Harris and Lil’Jordan Humphrey get bumped up the depth chart behind Michael Thomas and Ted Ginn. Thomas is the only viable fantasy starter here with QB Drew Brees out.

Saints WR Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. He was knocked out of last weekend's loss to the Rams and is looking unlikely to play against the Seahawks on Sunday. With WR Keith Kirkwood (hamstring) on IR, New Orleans will be down to WRs Michael Thomas, Ted Ginn, Austin Carr and Deonte Harris.

Saints QB Drew Brees will undergo surgery to repair a torn ligament in his throwing thumb, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The "initial estimate" has Brees missing 6 weeks. New Orleans has a Week 9 bye, so Week 10 might be Brees' most likely return date. We'll continue to keep an eye on the situation, but he's only worth stashing in 2-QB leagues or 1-QB leagues with an IR spot. If he returns in Week 10, he'll have 4 more home games left. QB Teddy Bridgewater will get the 1st crack at replacing Brees. He struggled in relief vs. the Rams and underwhelmed this preseason, posting a 61.4% completion rate and 5.7 yards per attempt. Consider Bridgewater just a low-end QB2 for now. But we do have some confidence that he's good enough -- alongside HC Sean Payton -- to at least keep RB Alvin Kamara and WR Michael Thomas afloat. If Bridgewater struggles, the Saints could give QB Taysom Hill a shot.

Saints QB Drew Brees is dealing with a ligament injury to his throwing thumb and is "looking at missing some game time," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The team is expected to have a better idea of Brees' status after he visits a hand specialist in Los Angeles on Monday. Former Head Team Dr. David Chao believes Brees could return in 2-3 weeks -- but adds that he might need surgery, which would sideline him "into November." We'll continue to update this situation as we learn more.

Saints QB Drew Brees will visit a hand specialist in Los Angeles to examine his injured right thumb, he told ESPN's Josina Anderson. Brees added that "he is concerned and that it could be significant," per Anderson. Brees only briefly tried to throw after suffering the injury, and it looked like it was uncomfortable just to even hold the ball. Brees owners should be bracing for a multi-week absence. We should learn more tomorrow.

Saints WR Tre'Quan Smith hurt his left ankle at the end of a 28-yard catch and run in the 4th quarter of Sunday's game against the Rams. We'll look for an update on his status. Smith's absence would leave Keith Kirkwood as New Orleans' #3 WR behind Michael Thomas and Ted Ginn.

Saints QB Drew Brees hurt his right thumb in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game against the Rams when banged it on Aaron Donald's hand on a follow through. Brees got the thumb taped up and briefly tried to throw on the sidelines. But he's now standing on the sidelines without a helmet. QB Teddy Bridgewater is in the game.
