Shark Bites

Redskins RB Chris Thompson (ribs) is out for Sunday’s game against the Texans. Kapri Bibbs will continue to serve as the change-of-pace back but would be a desperation fantasy play.

11:11am EST 11/11/18

Jaguars LB Telvin Smith (shoulder) is active for today’s game against the Colts. He belongs in IDP lineups.

Browns CB Denzel Ward (hip), LB Joe Schobert (hamstring) and S Damarious Randall (groin) are active for today’s game against the Falcons. All are fine to use as planned in IDP lineups.

Jaguars TE James O’Shaughnessy (hip) is active for today’s game against the Colts. He should serve as Jacksonville’s lead TE but would be a desperation fantasy play.

Jaguars LB Telvin Smith popped onto the injury report Thursday with a shoulder issue that limited his practice participation the past 2 days. Smith is questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts. We'll check his status Sunday morning.

Jaguars TE James O’Shaughnessy (hip) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Colts after a limited week of practice. If active, he should serve as Jacksonville’s lead TE but would be a desperation fantasy play.

Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is not listed on the final injury report and will play against the Colts this weekend. He’s yet to make it through a full game this season, so there’s obviously some risk here. But Jacksonville has played it safe with Fournette this time, and he was a full-go in practice all week. He’s worth getting into most fantasy lineups.

Redskins RB Chris Thompson (rib) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bucs. He still has no timetable for return. Kapri Bibbs will continue to operate as Washington's change-of-pace back but isn't much of a fantasy option. He's totaled 7 carries and 8 targets in the past 3 games without Thompson.

Redskins RB Chris Thompson (rib) remained sidelined on Wednesday. We'll see if he's able to get out there on Thursday, but fantasy owners shouldn't be planning on having him for this weekend's game against the Bucs.

Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. He's tentatively expected back for this weekend's game against the Colts, although we'd feel a lot better about getting him into fantasy lineups if he's a full-go on Thursday and/or Friday.

Update: Jacksonville changed Fournette's participation to "full." Barring a setback over the next couple of days, he'll be safe to get into Week 10 fantasy lineups.

Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) participated in individual drills on Monday for the 1st time since re-injuring his hamstring in Week 4, The Athletic's Daniel Popper reports. Fournette is on track to return for this weekend's game against the Colts if he can avoid a setback in practice this week. We'll continue to monitor his status.

Redskins RB Chris Thompson (rib) is out for Sunday's game against the Falcons. It's a missed opportunity vs. the league's worst defense in RB coverage. RB Kapri Bibbs will step in as Washington's #2 RB and is a deep-league PPR option in this matchup. He posted a 4-43-1 line on 5 targets back in Week 7.

Redskins RB Chris Thompson (ribs) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. His rib injury is reportedly an issue of pain tolerance, so it's possible he plays against the Falcons this weekend without practicing. But even then, he'd be a risky fantasy starter.

Redskins RB Chris Thompson suffered another rib injury in Sunday's win over the Giants, according to ESPN's John Keim. This one is to the opposite side that he hurt earlier this season. "Now about pain tolerance," Keim adds. We'll keep an eye on Thompson this week. He has an intriguing matchup on Sunday vs. a Falcons team that bleeds receptions to RBs.

Redskins RB Chris Thompson (knee, ribs) is active for today’s game against the Giants. He put in a full practice on Friday, so we’re expecting him to be ready for his usual role in this one.

Redskins RB Chris Thompson (ribs, knee) is expected to play against the Giants today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Thompson missed the last 2 games but got in a full practice on Friday. There's a bit more risk here than usual, but he's fine to get into PPR lineups.

Redskins RB Chris Thompson (knee, ribs) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game against the Giants. He put in a full practice on Friday, so he should be able to give it a go. Thompson comes with elevated risk with the knee and rib issues but packs plenty of PPR upside.

Jaguars TE James O’Shaughnessy (hip) is out for Sunday’s game against the Eagles. Jacksonville will again roll with TEs David Grinnage and Blake Bell. Neither is a fantasy option.

Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Eagles. He’s tentatively expected back after the Week 9 bye. RB Carlos Hyde will make his Jags debut this weekend and figures to share ball-carrying duties with T.J. Yeldon. Yeldon will continue to dominate pass-catching work, though, and is the better fantasy play.

Redskins RB Adrian Peterson (ankle, shoulder) is active for today’s game against the Cowboys. He played through these injuries last week, carrying 17 times. Expect a similar workload today. Redskins RB Chris Thompson (rib, knee), meanwhile, is inactive. That leaves Kapri Bibbs as Washington’s #2 RB.
