Vikings RB Dalvin Cook suffered a right shoulder injury in the 3rd quarter of Monday night's game in Seattle. He appeared to be in serious pain on the field before heading off to the locker room with trainers. He's officially questionable to return. We'll update Cook's status when we learn more. His absence would turn RB Alexander Mattison into a strong fantasy starter.
Vikings S Harrison Smith (hamstring), DT Linval Joseph (knee) and S Anthony Harris (groin) are active for tonight's game against the Seahawks. Each entered the day questionable but is ready if you waited on him for IDP use.
Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) has been downgraded to out for Monday night's game against the Seahawks. We'll see if he can make it back for Week 14. Thielen's absence means TEs Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith should continue to play big roles in Minnesota's passing game.
Bengals LB Nick Vigil (ankle) is active for today's game against the Jets. He managed just 1 limited practice this week, so there's obviously risk of re-injury. But Vigil also brings a high tackle floor and ceiling as long as he stays on the field. He belongs in most IDP lineups where he would have otherwise been in line to start.
Vikings DT Linval Joseph (knee), S Harrison Smith (hamstring) and S Anthony Harris (groin) are questionable for Monday night's game against the Seahawks. Joseph and Smith each progressed to full Saturday workouts and look likely to make it back for the game. Harris spent the full week limited and isn't worth waiting on for IDP lineups.
Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game against the Seahawks after a limited week of practice. We'll look for an update on his status on Sunday morning. Fantasy owners hoping to use Thielen should roster WR Olabisi Johnson as a backup plan.
Bengals LB Nick Vigil (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before returning to a limited Friday workout. We'll check his status Sunday morning.
Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) has put in limited practices on Thursday and Friday after reportedly tweaking his injured hamstring on Wednesday. “Everything has gone as planned this week so far,” he said Friday. “Have another good day tomorrow and we’ll go from there.” We’ll get another update on Thielen Saturday afternoon and see how he’s listed for Monday night’s game against the Seahawks.
Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. ESPN's Courtney Cronin hears that there was a "slight scare" with Thielen's hammy when he practiced on Tuesday. We'll keep an eye on this, but Thielen now seems iffy for Monday night's game against the Seahawks.
Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) participated in the team's post-bye-week practice on Tuesday. He's tentatively expected back for Monday night's game against the Seahawks, but we'll continue to keep a close eye on him over the next few days.
The Panthers have signed K Greg Joseph to their practice squad. K Joey Slye missed 2 XPs and a late 28-yard FG in Sunday's 3-point loss to the Saints. We'll see if Carolina gives Slye another chance or makes the move to Joseph. Avoid the situation in Week 13 fantasy lineups.
Vikings S Harrison Smith left Sunday's win over the Broncos late with a left hamstring injury. He gets a well-timed Week 12 bye, so we'll see about Smith's status for Week 13.
Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game against the Broncos. We're tentatively expecting him back after Minnesota's Week 12 bye. Olabisi Johnson will continue to serve as the Vikings' #2 WR but is a weak fantasy play. Thielen's absence keeps TEs Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith on the spot-start radar. They've averaged 4.8 and 5.3 targets, respectively, over the past 4 weeks.
Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. With a Week 12 bye coming, it'd make sense for Minnesota to hold Thielen out of this weekend's game against the Broncos. His absence would keep TEs Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith on the spot-start radar.
Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson left Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers with a calf injury. It's not yet clear how serious the injury might be. We'll keep an eye on his situation throughout this week. Arizona slot CB Tramaine Brock missed Week 10 with a hamstring injury that kept him out of practice all week. That could leave the Cardinals without 2 of their top 3 cover guys for the Week 11 visit to San Francisco.
Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) is out for Sunday night's game against the Cowboys. Olabisi Johnson will slide in as Minnesota's #2 WR, but the real fantasy winners here are TEs Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith. They've seen 14 and 15 targets, respectively, over the past 3 weeks. Both guys are in play as Week 10 spot starters.
Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) missed practice again on Thursday. He's not going to play against the Cowboys on Sunday night, leaving extra targets for WRs Stefon Diggs and Olabisi Johnson and TEs Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that the strained hamstring for Vikings WR Adam Thielen is "no worse" after he played briefly in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs. Pelissero tweeted that Thielen "could feel it pulling and need (sic) to calm it down." Pelissero also pointed out that Minnesota "errs on the conservative side" and gets a bye on the other side of the Week 11 home date with Denver. If you have Thielen, make sure you secure a contingency plan through Week 11. It seems like he should be OK on the other side of the Week 12 bye, at least. We'll certainly keep an eye on the situation. Missing Thielen this weekend would help the target outlooks for not only WR Olabisi Johnson, but also Minnesota's TEs.
Vikings WR Adam Thielen aggravated his hamstring injury in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game against the Chiefs. He's officially questionable to return. Stay tuned for updates.
Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) is active for today’s game against the Chiefs. He was reportedly a game-time decision, although there was optimism about his availability for this one all week. Thielen comes with a bit more risk than usual this week but retains WR1 upside.
