49ers RB Jeff Wilson suffered a shoulder injury in the 1st half of Sunday's game against the Rams and is questionable to return. He was filling in for RB Matt Breida today. Wilson's absence leaves Alfred Morris as San Francisco's lead back.
Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (groin) is not listed on the final Week 17 injury report. He only got in a limited practice on Friday but will play against the Bucs this weekend. Coleman could cede work to RB Brian Hill, making him a risky fantasy play.
Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (groin) was listed as "did not participate" in Thursday's practice. It's a surprise after HC Dan Quinn said earlier in the day that Coleman would put in a limited workout. It now looks like he won't be available for this weekend's game against the Bucs, leaving Brian Hill as Atlanta's lead back.
Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (groin) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. That gives him a shot to play against the Bucs this weekend, which would knock RB Brian Hill out of consideration. We'll get another update on Coleman tomorrow.
Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (groin) was held out of Wednesday's practice. He didn't return to last weekend's game, and we're tentatively expecting him to miss Sunday's finale against the Bucs. That'd leave Brian Hill as Atlanta's lead back.
49ers HC Kyle Shanahan said WR Dante Pettis suffered an MCL injury in Sunday's loss to the Bears. He'll miss the finale but won't need surgery, so his offseason shouldn't be impacted. The rookie came on strong down the stretch, tallying 24 catches for 371 yards and 4 TDs in his final 6 games. We'll see what the 'Niners add to the WR room this offseason, but Pettis should be a big part of the passing attack going forward. He's a strong dynasty hold.
49ers WR Dante Pettis suffered a knee injury in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's game against the Bears and is questionable to return. We'll pass along an update when we get one.
Update: Pettis has been ruled out. WR Marquise Goodwin has taken the rookie's spot in the starting lineup.
Falcons RB Tevin Coleman suffered a groin injury in the 2nd half of Sunday's game against the Panthers. He carried 10 times for 51 yards before exiting. If Coleman is unable to play in the finale, Atlanta will be down to RBs Brian Hill and Jeremy Langford.
49ers WRs Dante Pettis (foot) and Marquise Goodwin (calf) are active for today’s game against the Seahawks. We’re not expecting either guy to be limited by his injury. Pettis is a WR3 with upside. Goodwin can’t be trusted in fantasy lineups after playing just 33% of the snaps last week.
49ers WRs WR Dante Pettis (foot) and Marquise Goodwin (calf) are expected to play against the Seahawks today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Both guys were limited in practice on Thursday and Friday, but we never heard any concern about their statuses. Pettis has scored 4 times in his last 3 games and is a WR3 with upside today. Goodwin isn't a recommended fantasy option after playing just 33% of the offensive snaps last week.
49ers WRs Dante Pettis (foot) and Marquise Goodwin (calf) are questionable for this weekend’s game against the Seahawks. Both guys were added to the injury report on Thursday and then limited again in Friday’s practice. We’ll hopefully get an update on them Sunday morning. We won’t get San Francisco’s official inactives until 2:35 pm ET.
49ers WRs Dante Pettis (foot) and Marquise Goodwin (calf) were added to the injury report on Thursday and limited in practice. The fact that both guys popped up here suggests this was more of a rest day. We'll know more about the situation after Friday's practice.
Niners S Jaquiski Tartt re-aggravated his shoulder injury in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. Tartt has already lost 4 games to injury this season and hasn't reached 90% playing time since Oct. 21. He's not worth hanging on to in most IDP leagues at this point. If Tartt misses further time, Antone Exum would hit the IDP radar. He started in Tartt's place earlier this year and stepped in for the other half of Sunday's SS snaps.
The 49ers have ruled S Jaquiski Tartt (shoulder) and LB Reuben Foster (hamstring) out for Monday night’s game against the Giants. Tartt’s absence puts Antone Exum in starting range for IDP lineups, after he delivered starter production while filling in earlier this season
49ers QB Nick Mullens will start Monday night's game against the Giants. Mullens played better than anyone could have expected in his debut last Thursday, completing 16 of 22 passes for 262 yards, 3 TDs and 0 INTs. His 151.9 passer rating was the best in NFL history in a QB debut with 16+ pass attempts. The outing said just as much about Oakland's defense as Mullens' ability, though. He's just a low-end QB2 for Week 10.
49ers RB Raheem Mostert broke his right arm in the 3rd quarter of Thursday night's game. It was a nasty looking injury that will very likely end his season. Mostert racked up 86 yards and a score on 6 totes against a lifeless Raiders defense before exiting.
The 49ers announced that QB Nick Mullens will start tonight's game against the Raiders. QB C.J. Beathard (wrist) will be active as the backup. Mullens went undrafted out of Southern Miss. He completed a mediocre 60% of his career passes in college and tossed 46 INTs in 44 games. Downgrade George Kittle to low-end TE1 status with Mullens under center. We'd try to avoid the rest of San Francisco's passing game.
The 49ers have ruled out SS Jaquiski Tartt (shoulder) for Thursday night's game against the Raiders. They will also be without his backup, Antone Exum (concussion). That likely means the 1st career start for S Tyvis Powell. San Franscisco also lists CB Richard Sherman (calf, heel) as questionable. An already-weak defense looks even softer for Week 9.
49ers HC Kyle Shanahan labeled QB C.J. Beathard a game-time decision for Thursday night's tilt with the Raiders. He's dealing with a wrist injury that's inhibiting his ability to grip the ball. It's obviously not something you want to be messing with in fantasy lineups. QB Nick Mullens will make his 1st career NFL start if Beathard can't go.
49ers QB C.J. Beathard is dealing with a wrist injury that's making it tough to hold the ball, HC Kyle Shanahan said Tuesday. Shanny also suggested that Beathard is shaping up as a game-time decision for Thursday night's tilt with the Raiders. If Beathard can't go, San Francisco would be down to QB Nick Mullens, a former undrafted free agent out of Southern Miss.
