Bengals CB Darqueze Dennard (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns. He sat out practice Wednesday and Thursday before putting in a limited workout Friday and looks risky for IDP lineups even if he plays. We'd try to go in another direction. S Shawn Williams (hamstring), meanwhile, has been ruled out.
Bengals TE Tyler Eifert recently underwent surgery to remove a cyst on his knee, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano. Eifert is already recovering from an October back surgery that's expected to sideline him 4-6 months. We'll be curious to see what kind of deal he lands when he hits free agency in March,
Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict won't be suspended following his ejection from Sunday's game, a league source told The Associated Press. Burfict got booted for pushing an official's arm on the sideline during the loss to the Titans. But IDP owners can expect to have him available for the Week 11 clash with Denver, 1 of the league's top scoring matchup for fantasy LBs on the season.
Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict got ejected in the 1st half of Sunday's game at Tennessee for making contact with an official. IDP owners should expect a suspension to follow, especially given Burfict's disciplinary history.
The Bengals have waived K Marshall Koehn. It means K Randy Bullock (back) is ready for Sunday's game against the Titans. Tennessee has allowed the 3rd most fantasy points to Ks, but Bullock remains a middling fantasy option on a Cincinnati offense ranked dead last in yards per game.
Bengals WR A.J. Green will not be suspended by the NFL, according to insider Jim Owczarski. The league presumably feels the 2-and-a-half quarters he missed of yesterday's game against the Jaguars was enough punishment. It's a good break for fantasy owners -- especially considering Green was unlikely to do much vs. Jacksonville's shut-down secondary anyway. He'll be a WR1 for this weekend's game against the Titans.
Bengals WR A.J. Green was ejected in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's game against the Jaguars after getting into a fight with CB Jalen Ramsey, who was also given the boot. Green put Ramsey in a choke hold, tossed him to the ground and then threw multiple punches. We'll see if he faces discipline beyond Week 9. He finishes this one with 1 catch for 6 yards.
Bengals DE Michael Johnson is active for today's game against the Jaguars. He's a weak IDP option, though, with a back issue that forced him out of last week's game early.
Bengals WR John Ross is a healthy scratch for today's game against the Jaguars. The rookie is still looking for his 1st NFL catch and isn't worth a roster spot in redraft leagues.
Bengals K Randy Bullock (back) is inactive for today’s game against the Jaguars. Marshall Koehn will kick in his place. You should be able to do better in fantasy lineups.
Bengals DE Michael Johnson (back) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Johnson put in limited practices Thursday and Friday after sitting out Wednesday's. He's not worth waiting on for IDP owners, but we'll update his status Sunday in case you need to.
Bengals K Randy Bullock (back) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. We'll see if Cincinnati adds a K, but Bullock shouldn't be in Week 9 fantasy lineups at less than 100% and in a tough matchup.
Bengals WR John Ross (ankle) is not listed on the final Week 8 injury report. He should be active for Sunday’s game against the Colts. The rookie can’t be trusted in fantasy lineups right now but doesn’t hurt QB Andy Dalton’s prospects — especially vs. a defense that’s allowed a league-high 40 pass plays of 20+ yards.
Bengals WR John Ross (ankle) is inactive for today’s game against the Steelers. He put in a full practice on Friday, so he looks like a healthy scratch. Ross remains a dynasty hold but isn’t on the redraft radar.
Bengals WR John Ross (ankle) is questionable for this weekend’s game against the Steelers. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so he should play. Ross isn’t a fantasy option yet, but his speed will be an asset for Cincinnati’s offense.
Bengals TE Tyler Eifert will undergo season-ending back surgery on Thursday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. It'll be Eifert's 2nd back surgery in the past 10 months. This one will sideline him 4-6 months, per Schefter. That timeline will have Eifert sidelined until somewhere between February and April. It's especially bad news considering he's set to hit free agency in March. Eifert is still only 27 but has now missed 22 games over the past 2 seasons and 41 total over his 5-year career.
Bengals WR Tyler Boyd has been diagnosed with a sprained MCL and is expected to be out "a few weeks," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Last year's 2nd-round pick has just 6 catches this season. He's well off the redraft radar -- and his dynasty value is fading.
Bengals WR Tyler Boyd injured his right knee in the 1st half of Sunday's game against the Bills and was quickly ruled out for the rest of the day. That suggests a serious injury. We should learn more later today.
Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (back, ankle) is out for Sunday’s game against the Bills. We don’t have a timetable for his return. TE Tyler Kroft gets another start after going for 68 yards and 2 TDs last week. But the matchup isn’t nearly as good this time around. He’s just a TE2.
Bengals WR John Ross (knee) is out for this weekend’s game against the Bills. The rookie has no timetable for return and isn’t worth rostering in redraft leagues as the bye weeks start to hit.
