Shark Bites

Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Redskins. WR Cody Latimer (thigh) is also out, leaving Bennie Fowler and Jordan Taylor behind Demaryius Thomas on the depth chart. Thomas is a volume-based WR2 for Week 16.

Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) is "all but certain" to miss Sunday's game against the Redskins, according to insider Mike Klis. Sanders only got in a limited practice on Friday after aggravating his ankle injury last week. WR Demaryius Thomas should dominate targets for Denver tomorrow.

Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game against the Redskins. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. Insider Mike Klis considers Sanders “on the doubtful side of questionable.” We’ll find out his official status by noon ET on Sunday, but Sanders will be a shaky fantasy play if active.

Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. He exited last Thursday night's game with a bone bruise on the ankle that's been bothering him for a while now. We'll see if Sanders is able to get back on the practice field tomorrow, but he'll be a shaky fantasy play even if he's able to suit up against the Redskins this weekend.

Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders has been diagnosed with a bone bruise on his ankle, HC Vance Joseph said Friday. This is the same ankle that has been bothering Sanders since mid-October, but it's a new injury. We'll track his status throughout next week.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (concussion) practiced all week and isn’t listed on the final injury report. HC Sean Payton confirmed on Friday that his rookie has cleared the concussion protocol and will play against the Jets this weekend. Kamara remains a high-end RB1.

Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders left Thursday night's game against the Colts early with a right ankle injury and will not return. That's the same ankle he sprained in Week 6 before missing the next 2 games. We'll see how serious the issue is this time.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms that Saints RB Alvin Kamara (concussion) is expected to play against the Jets this weekend. The rookie put in his 2nd straight full practice on Thursday. Kamara -- and Mark Ingram -- should be busy with New Orleans whopping 16-point favorites.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (concussion) put in a full practice on Wednesday. If he hasn't completely cleared the concussion protocol yet, he's close. Kamara is on track to play against the Jets this weekend. He'll, of course, be an elite RB1 for that one.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara sustained a concussion on the 1st drive of Thursday night’s game in Atlanta. He carried once for 2 yards and caught 3 balls for 25 yards before exiting — but this is still a brutal turn of events for fantasy owners. Kamara will have 10 days to try to pass through the protocol ahead of Week 15’s meeting with the Jets.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (ankle) is active for tonight's game against the Falcons. The ankle adds some risk to Lattimore, but there's also volume upside to a game-long matchup with WR Julio Jones. We have Lattimore in DB3 range in our Week 14 rankings.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore is inactive for today's game against the Panthers because of the ankle sprain that limited him to just 1 day of practice this week after costing him the Week 12 game. Lattimore's absence brightens the outlook for Panthers lead WR Devin Funchess and dings the Saints' team D.

Bucs QB Jameis Winston (shoulder) is active and starting against the Packers today. There was never any doubt about his status after he put in a full week of practice. There’s still risk with a QB returning from a shoulder injury, but the plus matchup makes Winston a QB1 consideration.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore is questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers. He returned to a limited practice Friday after sitting out Thursday to rest his sprained ankle. We'll check on his status Sunday morning. Lattimore's not much of an IDP option, but his status impacts the outlook for Panthers WR Devin Funchess and the Saints' team defense.

The Packers have placed RB Ty Montgomery on IR, ending his 2017 season. He got off to a rocking start, with 253 yards and 3 TDs in his first 3 games. But he suffered a rib injury in the 4th that's hampered him ever since. Montgomery is also dealing with a wrist injury that requires surgery, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He should be fine for the offseason program, but Montgomery will need to fight for a 2018 role in Green Bay's young, crowded backfield.

Bucs QB Jameis Winston (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Packers. He put in a full week of practice, and HC Dirk Koetter named him the Week 13 starter on Wednesday. Winston is a risk/reward fantasy play coming off the shoulder injury in a plus matchup.

Packers RB Ty Montgomery (ribs) is out for this weekend's game against the Bucs. He's yet to practice since re-injuring his ribs on November 12 and has no timetable for return. We'll see if RB Aaron Jones (knee) is able to play on Sunday.

Bucs QB Jameis Winston (shoulder) will start this weekend's game against the Packers, HC Dirk Koetter announced. Winston must have looked and felt good in Wednesday's practice. There's some risk to a QB coming off a throwing shoulder injury, but Winston has a plus matchup vs. a Green Bay squad ranked 22nd in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA.

Packers RBs Ty Montgomery (ribs) and Aaron Jones (knee) remained sidelined on Wednesday. Neither guy looks like a particularly good bet to play against the Bucs this weekend. That'd leave Jamaal Williams in a feature-back role again. He's played 85.4% of Green Bay’s snaps and racked up 39 carries and 11 targets over the past 2 weeks.

Bucs QB Jameis Winston (shoulder) is expected to take all of the 1st-team reps in Wednesday's practice, according to insider Rick Stroud. If all goes well over the next few days, Winston will start against the Packers on Sunday. He'd be a risk/reward fantasy play in that plus matchup
