The Bengals added Oklahoma RB Rodney Anderson in the 6th round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Anderson had trouble staying healthy at Norman, suffering a broken leg in 2015, a fractured vertebrae in 2016 and a torn ACL last year. He flashed in his healthy 2017 campaign, ripping off 1,161 yards and 13 TDs on 188 carries (6.2 YPC) and hauling in 17 balls for 281 yards (16.5 YPC) and 5 more scores. The 6’0, 224-pounder wasn’t able to test during the pre-draft process but looks like a plus athlete on tape. There’s some upside here, but Anderson’s injury history is a major concern. He joins fellow rookie RB Trayveon Williams behind Joe Mixon and Gio Bernard in Cincinnati’s backfield.
