The Eagles have listed WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions. He didn't practice all week, but the team is evidently holding out hope that he'll be able to suit up this weekend. Fantasy owners shouldn't be counting on having Jeffery in Week 3 lineups. We'll get his official game status by noon ET on Sunday.
Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (groin) has been ruled out for this weekend's game against the Lions. He's also expected to miss next Thursday night's clash with the Packers. HC Doug Pederson didn't rule out WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) or TE Dallas Goedert (calf) on Friday morning, but they still seem like long shots. We'll get another update this afternoon.
Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's walkthrough. So, too, were WR DeSean Jackson (abdomen) and TE Dallas Goedert (calf). Philly figures to be down to WRs Nelson Agholor, J.J. Arcega Whiteside and Mack Hollins for this weekend's game against the Lions.
Eagles HC Doug Pederson labeled WR DeSean Jackson (groin) -- along with WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) and TE Dallas Goedert (calf) -- "day to day" in a Tuesday morning radio interview. "It's day to day with these guys and we're going to continue to rehab these guys this week and see where they're at," Pederson added. "I'm not going to commit right now to that (them playing in Week 3) because I want to make sure they put in a full week of practice before we make that determination." We'll keep a close eye on the Eagles' practice reports all week.
Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery is dealing with a calf strain, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "It’s not major, but with two games in 10 days, the timing is bad," Rapoport adds. "His status for those is in some doubt." It sounds like Jeffery is unlikely to play against the Lions this weekend and could also miss the following Thursday night's game against the Packers. His absence would mean more snaps for WRs J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Mack Hollins.
Eagles WR Alshon Jeffrey (calf), WR DeSean Jackson (groin) and TE Dallas Goedert (calf) are all questionable to return to Sunday night's game against the Falcons. TE Zach Ertz, WR Nelson Agholor and WR J.J. Arcega-Whiteside are still standing. We'll update the injured guys' statuses when we know more.
Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (biceps) isn’t listed on the final Week 1 injury report. He was limited on Thursday but returned to a full practice on Friday. Jeffery is safe to get into fantasy lineups for this weekend’s opener against the Redskins.
Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery was added to the injury report on Thursday with a biceps issue. He was limited in practice. We don't have any other details on the ailment but will update Jeffery's status as soon as we learn more.
The Eagles have acquired WR Golden Tate from the Lions in exchange for a 3rd-round pick. Tate figures to keep his slot role in Philly, pushing Nelson Agholor to the outside. He's unlikely to match the 9.9 targets per game he's averaged in Detroit so far this season, though, with Agholor, Alshon Jeffery and Zach Ertz to contend with. Tate looks like more of a WR3 with big-game potential the rest of the way. His arrival is a nice boost for QB Carson Wentz. Meanwhile in Detroit, both Marvin Jones and Kenny Golladay are in for big volume boosts. T.J. Jones is the favorite to step into the #3 WR role but is a long shot to be a fantasy factor.
Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (chest) isn’t listed on the final Week 5 injury report. He put in full practices on Thursday and Friday after sitting out Wednesday. The chest issue isn’t a concern, but a matchup with Vikings CB Xavier Rhodes makes Jeffery more of a WR3 this week.
Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (chest) returned to practice on Thursday. It's confirmation that his Wednesday absence was precautionary. Jeffery figures to see a bunch of Vikings CB Xavier Rhodes this weekend, making him more of a WR3.
Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery was held out of Wednesday's practice with a chest injury. Insider Jeff McLane hears that Jeffery "just needed a rest day and should be good to go for Sunday." We'll see if he gets back on the practice field tomorrow.
Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (shoulder, illness) is active for today’s game against the Titans. He’s a risk/reward fantasy play in his 1st action since the Super Bowl.
Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery will play against the Titans today, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen. Jeffery was cleared for contact and practiced on Wednesday, but he missed Thursday and Friday's workouts with an illness. We're expecting him to be at least a bit limited in his 1st action since the Super Bowl, making Jeffery a risky Week 4 fantasy play.
