Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) is out again for Sunday night’s game against the Chiefs. That keeps Anthony Miller locked in as the #2 option in Chicago’s passing game. Consider him an upside WR3 vs. a Kansas City defense susceptible to slot receivers.
Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) is out for Sunday's game against the Packers. That keeps Anthony Miller in play as a WR4 option. WR Javon Wims (knee) is listed as questionable.
Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) is out for Thursday night's game against the Cowboys. WR Javon Wims stepped in to play 89% of Chicago's offensive snaps and post a 5-56 line on 6 targets with Gabriel out on Thanksgiving. Wims is on the WR4 radar for Week 14. WR Anthony Miller remains the superior fantasy play, though.
Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) and TE Ben Braunecker (concussion) are out for Thursday's game against the Lions. Javon Wims figures to join Allen Robinson and Anthony Miller in 3-WR sets. Chicago is down to Jesper Horsted and J.P. Holtz at TE. Neither is a viable fantasy play, even in Thanksgiving DFS.
Bears WR Taylor Gabriel and TE Ben Braunecker are in the concussion protocol. Both guys are unlikely to be cleared in time for Thursday's game against the Lions. WR Javon Wims figures to replace Gabriel in the starting lineup. We'll see where Chicago goes at TE with Trey Burton on IR and Adam Shaheen still sidelined with a foot injury.
Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He exploded for 3 TDs in his last outing but totaled just 3 catches for 35 scoreless yards over the first 2 weeks. Gabriel remains just a fantasy flier.
Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) didn't travel with the team to London and is out for Sunday's game against the Raiders. WR Javon Wims actually played ahead of WR Anthony Miller with Gabriel out last week. Allen Robinson is the only Chicago WR that should be in Week 5 fantasy lineups.
Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) is out for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. It gives WR Anthony Miller an opportunity to play an increased role — but he’s not a recommended fantasy play in this matchup.
Bears WR Taylor Gabriel sustained a concussion in the 3rd quarter of Monday night's game in Washington. It ended a huge night that saw Gabriel haul in 6 balls for 75 yards and 3 TDs. That followed 35 scoreless receiving yards over the first 2 weeks of the season. We'll track Gabriel's progress through the protocol this week.
The Bears selected Georgia WR Riley Ridley in the 4th round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Calvin’s younger brother never popped at Georgia, topping out with 43 catches, 559 yards and 9 TDs this past season. Even in a run-heavy offense, his market shares underwhelm: 17.8% of the catches, 17.6% of the receiving yards and 26.5% of the receiving scores. Those marks rank 39th, 43rd and 29th among the 48 WRs at this year’s Combine. Ridley doesn’t check the athleticism box either, registering a 15th percentile SPARQ score at 6’1 and 194 pounds. He is 1 of the better route runners in this class and shows well in contested situations. That makes him a pro-ready and relatively safe WR prospect, but nothing in Ridley’s profile points to him becoming a real difference maker for the Bears or fantasy squads. He’ll compete for targets with Anthony Miller and Taylor Gabriel behind Allen Robinson.
Bears WRs Allen Robinson (ribs), Taylor Gabriel (shoulder) and Anthony Miller (shoulder) all practiced in full on Wednesday. Robinson sat out the season finale vs. Minnesota, while Gabriel and Miller exited early. But it looks like Chicago's WR corps will be at full strength for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Bears WR Taylor Gabriel suffered a shoulder injury in the 3rd quarter of Sunday's game in Minnesota and is questionable to return. Chicago already lost WR Anthony Miller to a shoulder injury, and WR Allen Robinson is inactive with a rib injury.
Bears WR Allen Robinson (ribs) is inactive for today’s game against the Vikings. Taylor Gabriel and Anthony Miller will serve as Chicago’s top 2 WRs and are both in the WR3 mix for fantasy lineups.
Bears WR Allen Robinson (ribs) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Vikings after missing practice all week. His absence will leave Taylor Gabriel and Anthony Miller as Chicago’s top 2 WRs. TE Trey Burton could also see a boost in volume.
