The Jets and WR Corey Davis agreed to a 3-year, $37.5 million deal with $27 million guaranteed, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Davis had an up-and-down 4 seasons in Tennessee but is coming off a career-best 65-984-5 line. He ranked 5th in yards per route run among 84 WRs with 50+ targets. We'll credit OC Arthur Smith for some of that, but Davis has never lacked ability. It's why he was the 5th overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft. And he remains in his prime at just 26 years old. New York isn't an ideal landing spot, with new OC Mike LaFleur and the QB spot standing as question marks. But Davis has the potential to carve out a big target share. He figures to be joining Jamison Crowder and Denzel Mims in the Jets' 3-WR set.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder (calf) is active for today’s game against the Rams. He’s a low-upside fantasy play with the Jets offense unlikely to get much accomplished.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams. He battled through the injury last week, playing 72% of the offensive snaps. Crowder should be out there this weekend but has very little upside vs. a tough L.A. pass defense.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder (calf) is active for today’s game against the Seahawks. ESPN’s Rich Cimini suggested this morning that Crowder might just be an emergency option, so we’d still avoid him in fantasy lineups. Crowder being active does make WR Braxton Berrios a riskier play.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder (calf) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game against the Seahawks. After being added to the injury report on Thursday, he didn’t practice on Friday. That doesn’t bode well. We’ll look for an update on Crowder’s status on Sunday morning, but he’ll be a risky fantasy play even if he ends up active.
Jets WR Denzel Mims won't play against the Seahawks on Sunday after traveling home to Texas to attend to a family emergency, HC Adam Gase said. Mims has averaged 6 targets over the past 6 weeks, so it's a notable loss. WR Jeff Smith figures to replace Mims in the starting lineup but would be a desperation fantasy play. WRs Jamison Crowder and Breshad Perriman gets boosts with Mims out.
Jets QB Sam Darnold (shoulder) will start against the Dolphins on Sunday, HC Adam Gase announced. Darnold has been out since Week 8 and has averaged just 174 yards and .5 TDs passing in 6 games this season. He's a low-end QB2 for Week 12, but Darnold's return should be good news for WR Jamison Crowder.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder (groin) is active for tonight's game against the Patriots. He only got in limited practices on Friday and Saturday, so he carries elevated risk in fantasy lineups. Of course, Crowder has been awesome whenever he's been on the field this season.
The Jets list WR Jamison Crowder (groin) as questionable for Monday night's game against the Patriots. He got in limited practices on Friday and Saturday. The New York Daily News' Manish Mehta reports that Crowder is expected to play. If you're planning to use him, though, we'd still have a backup option from that game just in case Crowder ends up inactive.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder (groin) returned to a limited practice on Friday. That at least gives him a shot to play against the Patriots on Monday night. We’ll get another update on his status tomorrow afternoon. WR Breshad Perriman (concussion) was a full participant on Friday, so he's on track to play vs. New England.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder (groin) remained sidelined on Thursday. He has a chance to return tomorrow, according to HC Adam Gase, but fantasy owners shouldn't be expecting Crowder to play vs. the Patriots on Monday night at this point. WR Braxton Berrios has averaged 7.5 targets in the 4 games Crowder has missed this season.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder (groin) is inactive for today’s game against the Chiefs. WR Breshad Perriman (concussion) is also out, leaving Denzel Mims, Jeff Smith and Braxton Berrios as New York’s top 3 WRs.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder (groin) is listed as doubtful for this weekend’s game against the Chiefs. He only got in a limited practice on Thursday and is obviously a long shot to play on Sunday. WR Breshad Perriman (concussion) is out. The injuries leave Denzel Mims and Jeff Smith as New York’s outside WRs, with Braxton Berrios in the slot.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder (groin) is inactive for today’s game against the Bills. He’ll be replaced in the slot by WR Braxton Berrios. Rookie WR Denzel Mims is active and will make his Jets debut today.
The Jets downgraded WR Jamison Crowder (groin) to doubtful for Sunday's game against the Bills. He should obviously be on fantasy benches now. Braxton Berrios will replace Crowder as New York's primary slot receiver but would be a desperation fantasy play. The Jets are at least expected to get rookie WR Denzel Mims back for this one. He'll join Breshad Perriman as the starting outside WRs.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder (groin) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game against the Bills. He was limited in Wednesday’s practice, sidelined on Thursday and limited again on Friday. Crowder clearly won’t be at 100% if he suits up — but he’s been awesome this season and has a plus matchup vs. a Buffalo secondary that’s struggled against slot receivers.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder missed practice on Thursday with a groin injury. HC Adam Gase said earlier in the day that he expected Crowder to be limited. His status for Sunday's game against the Bills is now in question. Check back tomorrow for another update.
The Jets' positive COVID test turned out to be a false-positive, the team announced on Friday night. So the Cardinals-Jets game is on for Sunday. Your Cardinals are safe to keep in fantasy lineups. Hopefully you're not too invested in the Jets.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder (hamstring) is active for tonight’s game against the Broncos. He was limited in practice this week, and NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported this morning that Crowder "won't be 100%.” That obviously leaves him as a risky fantasy play tonight.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that the Jets expect WR Jamison Crowder to play tonight against the Broncos. The wideout will still be short of 100% and plans to "give it a go." That obviously means there's still risk to playing Crowder in your fantasy lineup. Try to factor that in as you're making your Week 4 decisions.
