Giants TE Evan Engram (foot) put in a limited practice on Thursday. It's his 1st practice of any kind since going down back in Week 9. Engram expects to play against the Eagles on Monday night, but we'd feel better about getting him back in fantasy lineups if he gets in a full practice on Friday and/or Saturday.
Giants TE Evan Engram (foot) told reporters that he expects to return for Monday night's game against the Eagles. We'll track his practice participation over the next few days. The foot issue will add some risk to Engram's Week 14 fantasy outlook, but note that he racked up 22 targets, 17 catches and 164 yards in 2 games with QB Eli Manning to open the season.
Giants TEs Evan Engram (foot) and Rhett Ellison (concussion) are out for Sunday's game against the Packers. That again leaves Kaden Smith as New York's lead TE. In that role last week, he ran a pass route on 100% of QB Daniel Jones' drop backs, garnered a 17% target share and posted a 5-17-1 line. Smith is a viable Week 13 spot starter if you're hurting at TE.
Giants TEs Evan Engram (foot) and Rhett Ellison (concussion) remained sidelined on Wednesday. With both guys out last week, TE Kaden Smith ran a pass route on 100% of QB Daniel Jones' drop backs and garnered a 17% target share. He'll be a deep-league flier for Week 13 if Engram and Ellison are out again.
Giants TEs Evan Engram (foot) and Rhett Ellison (concussion) are out for Sunday’s game against the Bears. That leaves Kaden Smith and Scott Simonson as New York’s healthy TEs. Neither is a viable fantasy option.
Giants TE Evan Engram (foot) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice. He's looking like a long shot to play against the Bears this weekend. TE Rhett Ellison (concussion) isn't expected to play, either, leaving Kaden Smith as New York's lead TE. He's not a fantasy option. The TE injuries should push more targets to the WRs and RB Saquon Barkley.
Giants TE Evan Engram (foot) didn't practice on Wednesday. He's shed his walking boot but is looking unlikely to play against the Bears this weekend. TE Rhett Ellison also missed Wednesday's practice with his concussion. The Giants might be down to TE Kaden Smith in Chicago.
Giants TE Evan Engram (foot) remained sidelined for the team's post-bye-week practice on Monday. At this point, fantasy owners should assume Engram won't be available for this weekend's game against the Bears. We'll get another update on his status on Wednesday. Remember that TE Rhett Ellison is working his way back from a concussion, so New York might be down to TE Kaden Smith.
Giants TE Rhett Ellison has been placed in the concussion protocol. A Week 11 bye helps his chances of not missing a game. His status for Week 12 will only matter if TE Evan Engram remains out with his foot injury.
Giants TE Evan Engram (foot) is out for Sunday's game against the Jets. We'll see if he can get back on the field after New York's Week 11 bye. Engram's absence leaves Rhett Ellison as the Giants' lead TE this weekend. He's averaged 5.4 targets in 5 games without Engram over the last 2 seasons, including a 7-target outing vs. the Patriots back in Week 6. Ellison is squarely on the Week 10 spot-start radar.
Giants TE Evan Engram will not play Sunday because of the mid-foot sprain to his left foot, according to SNY's Ralph Vacchiano. Engram reportedly called it a "low-grade" sprain and said it's not a Lisfranc injury. He hopes to return after the well-timed Week 11 bye. Rhett Ellison should start in Engram's place. Ellison ranked 3rd in the team with 7 targets when Engram missed the Week 6 loss to New England. Ellison also totaled 20 targets across 4 games he played without Engram in the lineup last season -- including 6 targets apiece in weeks 12 and 13. He's in the fantasy-starter mix for Sunday's game against the Jets.
