Anthony Miller Fantasy Football News 2019

Bears WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion) didn't travel with the team to London and is out for Sunday's game against the Raiders. WR Javon Wims actually played ahead of WR Anthony Miller with Gabriel out last week. Allen Robinson is the only Chicago WR that should be in Week 5 fantasy lineups.

Bears WR Anthony Miller (ankle) returned to practice on Monday and said afterward that he'll be 100% for Week 1. The Chicago Tribune's Dan Wiederer suggested last week that Miller could be limited early on this season, so we'll be keeping a close eye on his practice participation. A healthy Miller should emerge as Chicago's #2 WR this year.

The Chicago Tribune's Dan Wiederer believes WR Anthony Miller (ankle) could be limited early on this season. The 2nd-year wideout has been sidelined for almost 2 weeks now with his sprained ankle. And he spent most of the offseason rehabbing from January shoulder surgery. When healthy, Miller remains a good bet to be Chicago's #2 WR. But the durability problems make him just a late-round flier in fantasy drafts.

HC Matt Nagy said Sunday that WR Anthony Miller sprained his right ankle in Saturday's practice, the team announced. Nagy said he doesn't expect the injury to challenge Miller's Week 1 availability. We'll see how soon the 2nd-year wideout returns to the field.

Bears WR Anthony Miller left practice Saturday with an apparent injury to his right ankle or foot, according to ESPN's Jeff Dickerson. Miller reportedly landed awkwardly after a jump ball in a 1-on-1 drill. We'll keep an eye out for a specific diagnosis. If you're drafting today, perhaps wait an extra round on Miller. He's going late enough to be relatively low-risk either way, though.

The Bears are “optimistic” that WR Anthony Miller (shoulder) and TE Trey Burton (hernia) will be ready for the start of training camp, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune. Both players have missed offseason workouts while working back from surgeries. We’ll watch their participation early in camp

The Bears selected Georgia WR Riley Ridley in the 4th round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Calvin’s younger brother never popped at Georgia, topping out with 43 catches, 559 yards and 9 TDs this past season. Even in a run-heavy offense, his market shares underwhelm: 17.8% of the catches, 17.6% of the receiving yards and 26.5% of the receiving scores. Those marks rank 39th, 43rd and 29th among the 48 WRs at this year’s Combine. Ridley doesn’t check the athleticism box either, registering a 15th percentile SPARQ score at 6’1 and 194 pounds. He is 1 of the better route runners in this class and shows well in contested situations. That makes him a pro-ready and relatively safe WR prospect, but nothing in Ridley’s profile points to him becoming a real difference maker for the Bears or fantasy squads. He’ll compete for targets with Anthony Miller and Taylor Gabriel behind Allen Robinson.

Bears WR Anthony Miller says he dislocated his left shoulder 5 or 6 times last year, the 1st coming in Week 3. “Every time I tried to stiff arm, it would come out, or if I ran kind of crazy, it would come out. Really I was playing games with like one arm, making it happen," Miller said. He ended up playing in 15 games but was often limited. So he did well to post a 33-423-7 line as a rookie. Miller had surgery in January to repair a torn labrum and should be back by the time training camp gets going. “Chicago hasn’t seen how I can play yet,” he added. Miller's early ADP is sitting in the 13th round.

Bears WRs Allen Robinson (ribs), Taylor Gabriel (shoulder) and Anthony Miller (shoulder) all practiced in full on Wednesday. Robinson sat out the season finale vs. Minnesota, while Gabriel and Miller exited early. But it looks like Chicago's WR corps will be at full strength for Sunday's game against the Eagles.

Bears WR Anthony Miller injured his left shoulder in the 1st half of Sunday's game against the Vikings and is questionable to return. He dealt with an injury to the same shoulder earlier this season. We'll update the rookie's status when we learn more.

Update: Miller has been ruled out. We'll see if he's able to play in next weekend's Wild Card game.

Bears WR Allen Robinson (ribs) is inactive for today’s game against the Vikings. Taylor Gabriel and Anthony Miller will serve as Chicago’s top 2 WRs and are both in the WR3 mix for fantasy lineups.

Bears WR Allen Robinson (ribs) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Vikings after missing practice all week. His absence will leave Taylor Gabriel and Anthony Miller as Chicago’s top 2 WRs. TE Trey Burton could also see a boost in volume.

Bears WR Allen Robinson (groin) is inactive for today’s game against the Bills. Taylor Gabriel and Anthony Miller will again serve as Chicago’s top 2 WRs and are both lower-end WR3 options in fantasy lineups.

Bears WR Allen Robinson (groin) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. It wouldn't make much sense for Chicago to push him out there for an easily winnable game vs. Buffalo this weekend. Look for Taylor Gabriel and Anthony Miller to again serve as the Bears' top 2 WRs for that one.

Bears WR Allen Robinson (groin) is inactive for today’s game against the Jets. His absence leaves Taylor Gabriel and Anthony Miller as Chicago’s top 2 WRs. Consider Gabriel a WR3 and Miller a WR4 consideration.

The forecast for today's Jets-Bears game calls for 20 mph sustained winds with gusts around 35 mph. That's more than enough to impact the deep-passing and kicking games. You shouldn't have been investing in the Jets passing game anyway, but the weather is a downgrade for QB Mitchell Trubisky and WR Taylor Gabriel. Short-range targets like TE Trey Burton and RB Tarik Cohen should be fine.

Bears WR Allen Robinson (groin) is not expected to play against the Jets today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "The hope is a week off gets him right.," Rapoport adds. Robinson's absence leaves Taylor Gabriel, Anthony Miller, Kevin White and Josh Bellamy as Chicago's top 4 WRs. It should also mean a few extra targets for RB Tarik Cohen and TE Trey Burton.

Bears WR Allen Robinson (groin) is questionable for this weekend's game against the Jets. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. The Chicago Tribune's Rich Campbell believes a decision on Robinson's availability might not come until after pregame warmups. We'll find out his status by noon ET on Sunday, but Robinson will be a risky fantasy play if active. His absence would open up snaps and targets for rookie WR Anthony Miller.

Bears WR Anthony Miller (shoulder) put in a full practice on Wednesday. That puts him on track to return for this weekend's game against the Dolphins. The rookie averaged 3.7 targets across his first 3 games. He's not a fantasy option but does put a slight dent into the target projections for Allen Robinson, Taylor Gabriel and Trey Burton.
