The Seahawks have signed K Blair Walsh. He's likely viewed as a fall-back option if Seattle can't agree to a new deal with impending free-agent K Steven Hauschka. Walsh has struggled mightily over the last 3 seasons, connecting on just 80% of his FGs and 90.6% of his XPs. He was cut by Minnesota this past November.
The Vikings have released K Blair Walsh, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. After 2 impressive seasons to begin his career, Walsh has tanked. He connected on just 81% of his FGs across 2014 and 2015. And he missed 4 FGs and 4 XPs in 9 games this season. We'll see who Minnesota signs to replace Walsh, but that guy won't be a strong fantasy option on a struggling offense.
Vikings K Blair Walsh went 0 for 3 on FGs and 2 for 3 on XPs in Saturday night's preseason game. His missed FGs came from 35, 38 and 49 yards out. "It didn’t feel real good with how I hit the ball obviously, and the results showed that," Walsh said afterward "I have to do better. Preseason or regular season, that cannot happen, and I know that." Walsh also missed a FG in Minnesota's 1st preseason game and 5 of his last 10 attempts last year. We're expecting him to eventually get back on track, but there's no reason to draft Walsh right now.

K Blair Walsh tweaked his left (non-kicking) hamstring on Thursday. He’s listed as questionable, but HC Leslie
Frazier expects him to play against the Panthers this weekend. Still, you might be better off with a
healthier K for your fantasy squad.
