Bucs RB Bobby Rainey (foot) is inactive for today’s game against the Lions. He’d been phased out of the offense the past 2 weeks, so his absence doesn’t do much for RB Doug Martin’s Week 14 outlook.

Bucs RB Bobby Rainey (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Lions. He didn’t practice all week, though, and seems like a long shot to play. Rainey has been phased out of the offense over the past couple games, so his absence isn’t a significant boost for RB Doug Martin.

Bucs RB Bobby Rainey is dealing with a foot injury and was spotted in a walking boot on Wednesday.  His status for this weekend's game against the Lions is obviously in doubt.  Rainey has totaled just 2 carries and 6 catches over the past 2 games, so his absence wouldn't help RB Doug Martin much.

Bucs RB Bobby Rainey has signed a 1-year extension.  The 26-year-old would have been an exclusive-rights free agent, which would basically have locked him in with Tampa unless the team decided not to retain him.  Rainey enjoyed a pair of 100-yard games as the 3rd man in for the Bucs last season, but he'll fight for a backup job in 2014.
