The Rams added Purdue TE Brycen Hopkins in the 4th round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Hopkins is coming off an 830-yard, 7-TD redshirt senior season, ranking 5th in yards per route run among 18 of this year’s top WR prospects. The 6’3, 257-pounder ran a 4.73-second 40-yard dash at the Combine and averaged a big 15.0 yards per catch in college. Hopkins is a bad blocker and dropped 14.5% of his catchable targets over the past 4 years. But he has enough playmaking ability to become a fantasy factor down the road. Hopkins joins Tyler Higbee and Gerald Everett in Los Angeles and is an extreme long shot for 2020 fantasy value. Higbee is signed through 2023, but Everett is set to hit free agency next offseason.
