Chiefs WR Chris Conley ruptured his right Achilles' tendon in Sunday night's win over Houston and will miss the rest of the season, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Conley already sat just 5th on the team in targets and caught 11 passes through 5 games. The loss could mean a few more targets for slot WR Albert Wilson and provide WR Demarcus Robinson a chance to get on the field more.

Chiefs WR Chris Conley returned to the practice field on Monday sporting a sleeve on his injured knee.  The rookie ended up missing 11 days with the injury.  Conley is mixing in with both the 1st and 2nd teams. He'll need a strong rest of the month to beat out WR Albert Wilson for a starting job.  Conley is only worth considering as a late-round pick in best-ball drafts.

Chiefs WR Chris Conley is dealing with a knee strain, according to HC Andy Reid.  No word on the severity or how long the he'll be sidelined.  Conley needs a strong August to beat out WR Albert Wilson for a Week 1 starting job.  For now, he's just a late-round flier in best-ball drafts.

The Chiefs selected WR Chris Conley in the 3rd round of the 2015 NFL Draft.  He didn't put up big college numbers in Georgia's run-heavy offense, but Conley blew up the Combine with a 4.35-second 40, 45-inch vertical and 139-inch broad.  His tape shows a guy who's more than just a freak athlete.  Conley creates separation and has excellent ball skills.  Unfortunately, landing with the Chiefs and ultra-conservative QB Alex Smith is not ideal.  At least Conley doesn't have much competition for a starting job opposite Jeremy Maclin.
