The Texans "won't take any chances" in their game against the Titans this afternoon, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tweets. Houston will have "several starters on the sidelines even if they aren’t inactive," per Rapoport. That might change if the Chiefs lose to the Chargers in the 1 pm ET time slot, giving the Texans a shot to climb into the #3 seed. But if Kansas City wins, don't expect to see much of QB Deshaun Watson or WR DeAndre Hopkins. WR Kenny Stills and RBs Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson could also be limited.

Texans HC Bill O'Brien said Monday that he has no plans to rest his starters in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Titans. Houston can still climb into the #3 seed -- but only if the Chiefs lose to the Chargers. That game will be over by the time the Texans kick off at 4:25 pm ET, so the game might be completely meaningless. That means there's at least some chance O'Brien changes his mind and sits guys like QB Deshaun Watson and WR DeAndre Hopkins. Those guys come with elevated risk in Week 17 fantasy lineups.

Injury Predictor

Watson's rookie season ended early with his 2nd ACL tear in the past 4 years. This one got his right knee, though, after a 2014 injury to the left. Watson's recovery has reportedly gone well this offseason, and both he and the team vow to keep his playing style unchanged. Watson also dealt with a broken collarbone, a knee sprain and a fractured finger while at Clemson. We'll see if he proves to be a durability in the pros.
