The Chargers on Saturday placed RB Dexter McCluster on IR after he suffered a forearm fracture in a household mishap that involved moving luggage, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. That's more work than he'd been getting on the field, where McCluster totaled just 5 touches over the past 4 games.

The Chargers have signed RB Dexter McCluster. A pure pass-catching back, he'll try to help fill in the void left by Danny Woodhead's season-ending knee injury. McCluster won't have nearly as big a ball-carrying role as Woodhead, who had 16 rushes in the opener. But he could see nearly as much of the passing-down work. He's worth adding in deeper PPR leagues. McCluster's arrival dings Melvin Gordon's upside, but he'll still dominate the carries the rest of the way.

The Titans have released RB Dexter McCluster, according to NFL Network's Rand Getlin. It's a slight surprise because McCluster was expected to have a role on passing downs. His departure gives RB DeMarco Murray's receiving projection a slight uptick. RB Derrick Henry could also see a bit more work in that facet.

Titans RB Dexter McCluster will need surgery on the wrist he broke in Week 13 against the Jaguars. That will end his season. McCluster improved his rushing and receiving production over his disappointing 1st year in Tennessee, but he still reached nothing more than fringe fantasy relevance.

Titans RB Dexter McCluster sprained his MCL in Thursday night's loss to the Jaguars, according to GM Ruston Webster.  It's likely a multi-week injury.  McCluster has averaged 5.1 carries and 2.7 catches per game this season.  His absence could get Bishop Sankey back onto the active roster as the passing-down back.
