The Ravens added SMU WR James Proche in the 6th round of the 2020 NFL Draft. You’d be hard-pressed to find a more productive receiver over the past 2 seasons. Proche hauled in 93 balls for 1,199 yards and 12 TDs as a junior in 2018 and then racked up 111 catches, 1,225 yards and 15 scores last year. He tied LSU’s Justin Jefferson for most catches in the country, ranked 13th in receiving yards and finished 4th in receiving TDs. Proche has experience playing both outside and in the slot. And he has some of the most reliable hands in this WR class, dropping only 9 of 312 catchable targets (2.9%) for his career. The knocks against Proche: He faced lower-level competition in the American Conference, is on the small side at 5’11, 201 pounds and is already 23 years old.
