ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Cardinals RB Kenyan Drake is expected to miss "a few weeks" with a "slight tear of a ligament in his ankle." Arizona is reportedly treating it like a high-ankle sprain. If that's the case, we could see Drake miss 4+ weeks. The Cardinals have a Week 8 bye, but expect RB Chase Edmonds to get starts at least the next 2 weeks vs. the Dolphins and Bills. He figures to be a borderline RB1 for those contests.

X-rays on Cardinals RB Kenyan Drake's ankle came back negative, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Drake is scheduled for an MRI today to determine the extent of his injury. We should have a better idea of how much time he'll miss by the end of the day.

Cardinals RB Kenyan Drake left in the 4th quarter of Sunday night's game against the Seahawks with an ankle injury. We'll see about the severity on Monday. Arizona gets a well-timed bye in Week 8.

Cardinals RB Kenyan Drake left Sunday's loss at Carolina early with what was deemed a chest injury. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports, however, that Drake "just got the wind knocked out of him" and was already working out Monday morning with "no issues." So health should not be a factor in whether to keep Drake in Week 5 fantasy football lineups.

Cardinals RB Kenyan Drake appeared to suffer an injury late in the 4th quarter of Sunday's loss to the Panthers. Drake was able to get off the field under his own power before heading back to the locker room. HC Kliff Kingsbury had no update on Drake afterward. We'll look for one tomorrow. Chase Edmonds would step in as Arizona's lead back if Drake misses time.
