Vikings TE Mycole Pruitt is already getting work with the 1st-team offense in 2-TE sets, according to insider Matt Vensel. Minnesota is using the rookie in more of an H-back role, lining him up in the backfield, out wide and attached to the offensive line. “MyCole has done a nice job. We’ve moved him around quite a bit,” HC Mike Zimmer said. “He runs very, very well. He makes some really, really good catches and he’s 255 pounds. We anticipate that he will be a pretty good blocker. He’s really catching our eye.” QB Teddy Bridgewater has also been impressed: "He’s an athlete. He brings something different to the table. He can catch passes out of the backfield, catch passes from the tight end position, he can block in the run game, he can line up at wide receiver." Pruitt put up big numbers at Southern Illinois, including an 81-861-13 line as a senior. Then he led all TEs with a 4.58-second 40-yard dash at the Combine. There's some fantasy intrigue here, although Pruitt will likely need a Kyle Rudolph injury to make a 2015 impact. Rudolph, of course, has missed 15 games over the past 2 seasons.
