The Bengals have waived K Marshall Koehn. It means K Randy Bullock (back) is ready for Sunday's game against the Titans. Tennessee has allowed the 3rd most fantasy points to Ks, but Bullock remains a middling fantasy option on a Cincinnati offense ranked dead last in yards per game.
Bengals K Randy Bullock (back) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. We'll see if Cincinnati adds a K, but Bullock shouldn't be in Week 9 fantasy lineups at less than 100% and in a tough matchup.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the Bengals will release rookie K Jake Elliott, meaning that veteran Randy Bullock has won the kicking job. Cincinnati drafted Elliott in Round 5, but he connected on just 4 of 7 FG attempts in the preseason, including a pair of misses in Thursday night's finale. Bullock went 6 of 7 and made both of his extra-point attempts. He originally joined the Bengals in December, when they dumped K Mike Nugent.
The Giants on Monday signed K Randy Bullock to at least serve as the Week 1 replacement for Josh Brown. The league suspended Brown 1 game over domestic violence chargers. The "at least" is significant here because we've seen the NFL stiffen domestic-violence discipline in the past after receiving more information. The suspension stemmed from a May 2015 arrest for 4th-degree assault, but more alarming allegations have surfaced recently. We'll see if turns into any further discipline.
