Dolphins HC Brian Flores announced Monday that WR Preston Williams will miss the rest of the season with the knee injury he suffered in Sunday's win over the Jets. No word yet on Williams' exact injury or whether it'll impact his availability for the start of the 2020 campaign. It's the end of a promising rookie season that saw Williams dominate in preseason action and then post a 32-428-3 line in 8 regular season games. He leaves behind 7.5 targets per game. Allen Hurns is the best bet to step into Williams' spot but isn't worth rostering in fantasy right now. WR DeVante Parker and TE Mike Gesicki should get volume boosts with Williams out.
Update: ESPN's Cameron Wolfe reports that it's an ACL tear for Williams. We'll see if he can get back to full strength for the start of next season.
