Dolphins WR Albert Wilson doesn't need surgery on the hip injury that ended his 2018 season, according the Miami Herald, and is expected to be ready for the start of the offseason program in April. It's good news for a guy who flashed big-play ability in his 7 games last year, averaging 15.0 yards and scoring 4 times on 26 catches. He's a nice late-round target in early best-ball drafts.

Dolphins WR Albert Wilson's hip injury could cost him the rest of the season, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The injury is reportedly to Wilson's labrum. “The best case scenario is that he would miss a few weeks," agent Drew Rosenhaus said in a radio appearance. We should learn more later today. Jakeem Grant stepped in as Miami's #3 WR after Wilson exited yesterday's game.

After generating buzz by projecting a possible 80-85 catches for Dolphins WR Danny Amendola, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald says WR Albert Wilson has been "perhaps outplaying all of the others in OTA practices so far this spring." Colleague Barry Jackson added that "the Dolphins have been so impressed with new receiver Albert Wilson that they have decided he can be lined up not only in the slot, but also on the boundary and in the backfield." Jarvis Landry's departure has left a ton of targets available, in an offense that returns starting QB Ryan Tannehill from his ACL injury. Wilson is a no-risk flier at the end of drafts right now, 1 of at least 3 Miami WRs presenting upside beyond their current ADPs.
