He Browns have placed LB B.J. Goodson on the COVID list. That obviously knocks him out for Sunday’s game against the Jets. He’s likely the player that the team announced earlier in the day had tested positive. In that case, Goodson would likely miss Week 17 as well. The Giants have ruled LB B.J. Goodson out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. He wouldn't have been an IDP option if active, but his absence makes it easier to use Giants LB Kelvin Sheppard in fantasy lineups. Sheppard has played 78% of the snaps or more in 4 straight appearances.

Elsewhere on the Giants defense, top CB Janoris Jenkins (ankle) is questionable. That's bigger news for Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery than for IDP owners. Missing Jenkins would significantly improve Jeffery's fantasy outlook.

NJ.com reports that the Giants expect to start rookie Calvin Munson to start at MLB in place of B.J. Goodson against the Lions on Monday night. Goodson is officially questionable with a shin injury sustained in Friday's practice. We'll see about his status for Week 3. Jonathan Casillas is a better IDP bet than Munson if you're needing a fill-in for Goodson
