Seahawks S Jamal Adams played through a torn labrum in his left shoulder in Saturday night's win over the Rams and will now need offseason surgery, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Adams reportedly also might require surgery on his right shoulder and plans to have surgery on his left hand. We'll see whether any of these issues delay his start to 2021, but we'd bet on the star safety being ready.

Seahawks S Jamal Adams put in a full practice Friday and carries no injury designation into Sunday's game at Buffalo. That makes him ready to re-insert into IDP lineups. CB Shaq Griffin (hamstring) will miss his 2nd straight game. That keeps Tre Flowers in the starting lineup.

Seahawks S Jamal Adams (groin) will miss his 3rd straight game Sunday night against the Cardinals. Ryan Neal will start again in his place and looks like an IDP starter. He has defensed 4 passes including 2 INTs over 3 games: 2 starts and 35% of the snaps in the game Adams left early. Neal has also been a good bet for tackles, though he hasn't matched Adams' pass-rushing opportunities.

The Seahawks don't yet know whether S Jamal Adams will be ready to return for Sunday's game at Arizona. "It's a long season, and we'd love to have him back as soon as we can get him but we want him back when he's right and back for the long haul," HC Pete Carroll said Monday, according to Seahawks Wire. Adams missed the past 2 games with a groin injury, before Seattle's Week 6 bye. If he can't play in Week 7, then Ryan Neal would fill in once again. Neal has tallied 14 tackles (11 solo) over the past 2 games -- plus 3 passes defensed, including an INT. Neal would be in play for IDP lineups if Adams sits again.
