Penny climbed the steps to a workhorse senior year at San Diego State, when he carried 289 times, averaged 7.8 yards per rush and added 19 receptions. His late 1st-round arrival to Seattle should find him quickly gaining a prominent offensive role, with 2nd-year back Chris Carson the biggest challenge. Penny brings a clean injury history into the league.
