Dolphins RB Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Patriots. He got in 3 limited practices this week and seems on track to return. Ahmed operated as Miami's lead back in Weeks 10 and 11, totaling 33 carries and 7 targets. He might just be the best bet for touches in the backfield this weekend -- ahead of DeAndre Washington, Matt Breida and Patrick Laird -- but you're best off just avoiding this backfield in what figures to be a low-scoring affair vs. New England.

Dolphins RB Myles Gaskin has been placed on the COVID list. It's unclear if he tested positive for the virus, but he's out for at least this weekend's game vs. the Chiefs. RB Matt Breida is also on the COVID list, while RB Salvon Ahmed is out with his shoulder injury. Miami is down to RBs Patrick Laird, DeAndre Washington and Elijah McGuire, who was just elevated from the practice squad. It's anyone's guess as to how touches will be divvied here, so it's a situation to try to avoid in Week 14 fantasy lineups.

Update: ESPN's Field Yates reports that Gaskin tested positive for COVID, so he'll likely miss Week 15, too.

Dolphins RBs Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) and DeAndre Washington (hamstring) are listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Bengals. RB Matt Breida, meanwhile, missed Friday's practice with an illness that HC Brian Flores declined to say was COVID related or not. Flores also said that the team is still deciding whether to bring back RB Myles Gaskin (knee) for this weekend's game. If Gaskin is activated, he'd likely step back in as Miami's clear lead back and be in the RB2 mix. If not, Miami could be left with only RB Patrick Laird. We have to imagine they'd go pass-heavy in that case.
