Jaguars QB Mike Glennon will start against the Browns this weekend, HC Doug Marrone announced on Wednesday. QB Gardner Minshew evidently isn't ready to return from his thumb injury, and the Jags have seen enough of QB Jake Luton. Glennon at least has 801 NFL pass attempts under his belt, completing 61% and averaging 6.4 yards per attempt. He's not a Week 12 fantasy option but should be an upgrade over Luton.
Jaguars HC Doug Marrone said Monday that QB Jake Luton will "likely" start against the Packers this weekend. QB Gardner Minshew is expected to remain sidelined with his thumb injury. Luton flashed in his debut yesterday, notably on a 73-yard TD strike to WR D.J. Chark. But he graded out just 21st among QBs on the week, according to Pro Football Focus. Luton remains just a lower-end QB2 for Week 10.
Jaguars WR D.J. Chark (chest, back) isn’t listed on the final Week 4 injury report. He put in a full practice on Friday, so he should be ready for his usual role this weekend. Chark was off to a slow-ish start before missing Week 3, but he’s worth getting back into fantasy lineups for Sunday’s plus matchup vs. the Bengals.
Jaguars HC Doug Marrone labeled WR D.J. Chark "week-to-week" with his ankle injury. He won't play against the Raiders this Sunday -- and don't bank on Chark for the final 2 games of the season. His absence this weekend will leave Dede Westbrook, Chris Conley and Keelan Cole as Jacksonville's top 3 WRs in a plus matchup.
Jaguars WR D.J. Chark injured his left ankle late in Sunday's loss to the Chargers. He was in a walking boot and getting around on a scooter afterward, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco. We should learn more about Chark's injury tomorrow, but it looks like he's in serious danger of missing at least Week 15.
Jaguars WR D.J. Chark sustained a concussion in Thursday night's preseason game against the Dolphins. He'll have 17 days to get cleared before the opener. Chark was in line to open the season as 1 of Jacksonville's top 3 WRs. We'll see if this injury changes that.
Jaguars HC Doug Marrone admitted Saturday that WR Marqise Lee might miss the start of the season. He remains on the PUP list after suffering a significant knee injury last August. Lee isn't worth a pick in fantasy drafts. Dede Westbrook, D.J. Chark and Chris Conley are expected to open the season as Jacksonville's top 3 WRs.
