LB Karlos Dansby has signed a 1-year deal with the Cardinals, his original team. The fact that he chose them over other reported suitors indicates Arizona gave Dansby the best chance to start. He can immediately fill LB Daryl Washington's spot while the star serves his 4-game suspension. Once Washington returns, Dansby will likely have to beat out Jasper Brinkley and rookie Kevin Minter to stay on the field. He'll be worth a shot in the LB3 range of your IDP draft. Even if Dansby hits the sideline after Washington returns, you'll likely be able to find a suitable replacement.
Cardinals LB Karlos Dansby (hamstring) is active for today's game against the Rams. He's fine for normal use in IDP lineups.
Cardinals ILB Karlos Dansby (hamstring) is active for today's game against the Buccaneers. He entered the day questionable but is OK as a down-the-list IDP option.
Cardinals LB Karlos Dansby is questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers after a hamstring injury limited his participation all week. We'd bet on Dansby playing, but we'll see about his status Sunday.
The Browns have told LB Karlos Dansby that they will release him, according to Adam Schefter. That comes a day after the team reached a 2-year deal with former Jets LB Demario Davis. The move will save Cleveland money, but it also looks like a pretty clear downgrade from a still-solid veteran starter to another veteran who got phased out of his starting role with the Jets late last year. Dansby figures to land somewhere with an opportunity again, just as he did in Arizona and then Cleveland after the Dolphins released him following the 2012 season.
