Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders has been told that he'll play more in the slot this season. This has been our expectation since Denver drafted the 6'2, 215-pound Cody Latimer in the 2nd round of last year's draft. When the Broncos go to 3-WR sets this season, Latimer will join Demaryius Thomas on the outside, while Sanders kicks into the slot. The problem for Latimer's 2015 production is that new HC Gary Kubiak doesn't typically run a whole lot of 3-WR sets. Of course, that doesn't mean he won't run more this season. As for Sanders, he was extremely efficient in the slot last year, posting an 85.7% catch rate and 13.5 yards per catch. More time in the slot doesn't hurt his fantasy outlook.
49ers WRs Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) and Deebo Samuel (shoulder) are active for tonight's game against the Packers. Sanders is the riskier of the 2 after he was unable to make it through last week's game. WR Marquise Goodwin is a healthy scratch.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that 49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs), WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder) and TE George Kittle (knee) are expected to play against the Packers tonight. "Though the may work out pre-game" before a final decision is made, Rapoport adds. We won't get San Francisco's inactives until 7 pm ET tonight, so it'd be wise to have a backup plan in place for these guys. But all 3 can be penciled into fantasy lineups for now.
49ers WRs Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) and Deebo Samuel (shoulder) are listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the Packers. Both guys got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday and are expected to play vs. Green Bay. Sanders comes with risk, though, after he was unable to make it through last week's game. Samuel returned from his injury and produced, so he's the safer bet.
49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) put in a limited practice on Thursday. He should suit up for Sunday night's game against the Packers but will be a risk/reward fantasy play after being unable to finish last week's game against the Cardinals.
49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) is active for today’s game against the Cardinals. He didn’t practice all week, but we haven’t heard anything about him being limited today. Rib injuries tend to be pain-tolerance issues. Sanders comes with added risk in Week 11 fantasy lineups but also boasts plenty of upside against an Arizona defense he beat for 112 yards and a score just 2 weeks ago.
