Washington TE Jordan Reed underwent a “little procedure” on his knee, HC Jay Gruden told ESPN's John Keim. It’s a concern, as Reed has already missed a portion of OTAs with knee trouble. And he’s never been the most durable guy, missing 12 games over his first 2 seasons. Gruden did say that the young TE will be ready for training camp, but we’ll keep tabs on Reed throughout the summer.
TE Jordan Reed announced his retirement. A talented pass-catcher, Reed's career was unfortunately defined by injuries, most notably his 7 documented concussions. He finishes a 7-season career with 355 catches for 3,602 yards and 28 TDs.
Niners TE Jordan Reed (illness) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams. Reed missed practice Thursday and Friday. We'll see about his status on Sunday. If he's inactive, Ross Dwelley would take lead-TE snaps for the 49ers.
49ers TE Jordan Reed (knee) will play against the Packers tonight, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Reed has been out since spraining a knee back in Week 3. It's unclear how big a role he'll play tonight, so Reed is a high-risk fantasy play. His return also makes TE Ross Dwelley tough to trust in fantasy lineups.
HC Kyle Shanahan says TE Jordan Reed could miss 6-8 weeks with the knee sprain he suffered in Sunday's win over the Giants, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He'll go on short-term IR. You should go ahead and drop Reed from most fantasy football rosters.
