Per beat writer Eric Williams of ESPN, Chargers RB Danny Woodhead has been a “pleasant surprise” for the team in offseason work. Williams adds that the RB has “flashed the quickness and elusiveness that makes him one of the best pass-catching RBs in the league.” Woodhead fit that description in 2013, catching a whopping 76 balls as a 1st-year Charger. Woodhead is a risk/reward Week 11 fantasy play.

Woodhead returned to practice a couple of weeks ago is coming back from a significant hamstring injury. He should still be rostered in all PPR leagues at this point, but owners can't be counting on him for Week 11 yet.
Ravens RB Danny Woodhead (hamstring) returned to practice on Tuesday. That seemingly puts him on track to play when he's 1st eligible in Week 11. Woodhead hauled in 3 balls on Baltimore's very 1st drive of the season before going down. In 7 games since, RB Buck Allen has racked up 41 targets and 32 catches. There lots of PPR potential for Woodhead down the stretch.
