Vikings OLB Anthony Barr had a cast on his left arm after Sunday's game and had X-rays, according to ESPN's Ben Goessling. HC Mike Zimmer wouldn't give any details on the injury or test results Monday but said Barr "should be fine." We'll keep an eye on his practice status this week.
Vikings OLB Anthony Barr (knee) is inactive for today's game against the Browns. That leaves Nick Vigil in place as the #2 LB for Minnesota and a strong option or our IDP lineups.
Vikings OLB Anthony Barr (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns. He's not particularly interesting for IDP use, but Barr's status should affect whether Nick Vigil remains a full-time player. Vigil has delivered top 10 fantasy numbers at the position through 3 games with Barr out. We'll check Barr's status Sunday morning.
Vikings OLB Anthony Barr will miss the rest of the season after tearing a pectoral muscle in Sunday's loss to the Colts. That should mean full playing time for weak-side starter Eric Wilson going forward. Wilson wound up playing 92% of the snaps vs. Indy, totaling 7 tackles and grabbing an INT. He saw 7 other games of 70% playing time or more over the previous 2 seasons when other LBs went down. Wilson finished all 3 such games last season with 8+ tackles.
The Vikings have removed OLB Anthony Barr from the injury report. He missed last week's game with a knee injury, allowing Eric Wilson to take over full-time snaps and deliver a big IDP outing (11 tackles, 2 sacks). But with Barr ready to face the Bears, expect Wilson to return to playing about half the game and not offering much IDP value.
