Broncos S David Bruton played a little more than 3 quarters of Sunday's loss at Pittsburgh with a fractured right fibula, according to ESPN.com. He suffered the injury in a late-1st quarter collision with CB Aqib Talib. "I thought it was a bruise,'' Bruton said. "There was a sharp pain initially and it just got worse and worse throughout the game.'' HC Gary Kubiak said Bruton will miss "extensive" time. We'll see if T.J. Ward (ankle) can get back to reclaim his starting job in Week 16.
Broncos S David Bruton suffered a sprained MCL and PCL and a bone bruise in his left knee, according to Mike Klis of 9News in Denver. Bruton started in place of S T.J. Ward against the Chargers on Sunday and led the team in tackles despite leaving early with the knee injury. The timeline means he won't be in the lineup again if Ward's not ready to return from his ankle injury against the Raiders next Sunday. We'll keep an eye on the situation for IDP owners through the week.
