Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) was a full participant in Sunday's practice. "He looks really good and I think the signs are very positive that he's going to be ready in a couple weeks to play," HC Pete Carroll said. "Right now we just want to see him come back day after day and keep battling, really digging in like he does and competing like he does, just to show that he's alright. He's doing everything right so we're really happy with him." Rawls is on track to be ready for Week 1. It remains unclear what his volume will look like with Christine Michael and possibly C.J. Prosise vying for touches. Rawls is a risk/reward pick at his 4th-round ADP.
The Jets signed RB Thomas Rawls. The 24-year-old has mustered just 3.0 yards per carry across 21 appearances over the past 2 seasons since a promising rookie campaign. He joins a Jets backfield that added Isaiah Crowell and returns Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire. Perhaps Rawls' arrival puts Powell's roster spot in danger. But even in that case, Rawls wouldn't be more than a late-round flier in fantasy drafts.
Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls is inactive for tonight's game against the Falcons, apparently as a healthy scratch. Rawls didn't show up on the injury report at all this week, so RB Eddie Lacy's return from a groin injury appears to leave the team no use for Rawls. Lacy, of course, has topped 34 yards just once all season. The closest thing to an intriguing RB in Seattle right now is J.D. McKissic, who drew a season-high 9 touches in last Thursday's win at Arizona. We'll see if he can repeat that participation level and become fantasy relevant.
Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) put in a full week of practice and isn't listed on the final injury report. He'll make his 2017 debut against the 49ers on Sunday. Rawls' return further crowds a backfield that also includes Chris Carson, C.J. Prosise and Eddie Lacy. Avoid the situation in Week 2 fantasy lineups if possible.
Seahawks HC Pete Carroll said Monday that RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) will play against the 49ers this weekend. Rawls put in 3 full practices last week but was held out of Sunday's opener. He'll return to a backfield that certainly needs a spark after RBs Eddie Lacy, Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise totaled just 53 yards on 15 carries vs. the Packers. Rawls is worth stashing, but he'll be tough to trust in Week 2 fantasy lineups.
Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) is inactive for today’s game against the Packers. It sounds like Seattle is holding him out to get him back to 100%. We’re expecting a Week 2 debut for Rawls. His absence leaves the Seahawks’ backfield to Eddie Lacy, C.J. Prosise and Chris Carson.
