Floyd out indefinitely after surgery

Vikings DT Sharrif Floyd had surgery Thursday on his right knee. The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports that HC Mike Zimmer confirmed it's a cartilage issue, like the 1 that required surgery on Floyd's left knee in the middle of last season. Floyd lost 4 games that time, and Zimmer said he's not sure how long the starter will be out this time around. IDP owners can go ahead and drop Floyd for another option, though he'll be worth a look again in DT-specific slots if he can get back to full health.

The Vikings have ruled DT Sharrif Floyd out for the 2nd straight game because of knee and ankle injuries.
