Howard out at least a month | Shark Bites | Draft Sharks

Dolphins CB Xavien Howard will miss at least a month after re-injuring the meniscus in his right knee in a collision with WR Kenny Stills at practice earlier this week, according to the Sun-Sentinel. Howard had the meniscus in that knee repaired in July. HC Adam Gase said his return will depend on "how the rehab goes." Expect opponents to target Miami's CBs even more than they have to this point. The situation will help the fantasy values of opposing WRs while also creating tackle opportunities for Dolphins corners. Tony Lippett's expected to shift over to Howard's spot and give Byron Maxwell his starting job back.

That's bad news for the Miami pass D but good news for owners of Patriots WR Josh Gordon. We'll keep an eye on Howard's status heading into the weekend -- and then beyond.

Dolphins CB Xavien Howard is active for today's game against the Falcons. He entered the day questionable with a shoulder issue but is fine to use as a low-level IDP.
