Ravens DT Brandon Williams (foot) is active today for the 1st time since Week 2. We'll see now how important he is for a run defense that has struggled in 4 games without him but opened the year vs. a pair of bad rush offenses with Williams around. CB Jimmy Smith (Achilles') and DB Lardarius Webb (knee) are also active after entering the day questionable. Neither is much of an IDP option but helps the Baltimore team D.
Ravens CB Brandon Carr (knee) and OLB Za'Darius Smith (hamstring) are active for today's game against the Browns. Each entered the day questionable. Baltimore also gets top CB Jimmy Smith back after a season-opening 4-game suspension. This remains an upside team D even on the road today.
Ravens ILB C.J. Mosley (knee) and OLB Terrell Suggs (knee) are active for tonight's game against the Steelers. They're good to go if you were waiting for either as an IDP starter.
Ravens S Tony Jefferson (ankle), S Eric Weddle (ankle) and OLB Terrell Suggs (knee) are active for tonight's game against the Dolphins. Use them as you normally would in IDP lineups.
Ravens S Tony Jefferson (ankle), S Eric Weddle (ankle) and OLB Terrell Suggs (knee) are questionable for Thursday night's game against the Dolphins. All 3 put in full practices Wednesday and appear on track to play. We'll confirm their statuses Thursday evening.
The Ravens have added Greg Roman to their coaching staff, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. No word yet on Roman's official title, but he'll certainly have a say in the offense. He's spent the past 6 seasons as an OC -- the first 4 in San Francisco and the last 2 in Buffalo. All 6 of those offenses finished among the top 9 in rushing attempts and top 8 in rushing yards. Roman's arrival is good news for RBs Kenneth Dixon and Terrance West.
