Cardinals RB David Johnson has received full medical clearance from last year's dislocated wrist, NFL Network reports. Johnson declared himself 100% healthy back in mid-January, so this is just confirmation. The wrist injury that cost him 15 games last year shouldn't be a factor in 2018. A healthy Johnson racked up 2,118 total yards and 20 TDs back in 2016. It'd be super optimistic to expect a repeat of those numbers this season, but Johnson certainly has the potential to top the RB position in fantasy points.

Cardinals RB David Johnson injured his wrist in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game in Baltimore and is officially questionable to return. A wrist injury cost him almost all of 2017, although it's unclear if this is related. We'll update Johnson's status when we learn more. RB Chase Edmonds is Arizona's backup.

Update: Johnson returned in the 2nd quarter. Exhale.

Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official website believes RB David Johnson's receiving ability will "come back to the forefront" in HC Kliff Kingsbury's offense. "Johnson should fit perfectly into the new Cardinals’ offense," Urban adds. After posting a huge 80-879-4 receiving line in 2016, Johnson posted a relatively disappointing 50-446-3 in a stale 2018 Arizona offense. Kingsbury is expected to bring his Air Raid principles and an up-tempo attack to the desert. It should suit Johnson perfectly considering he does his best work out in space. His upside extends to the top of the RB position this year.

Cardinals RB David Johnson (quad) is not listed on the final Week 15 injury report. He sat out Wednesday but put in a limited practice on Thursday and was a full-go on Friday. The quad shouldn’t be an issue against the Falcons this weekend.

Cardinals RB David Johnson (quad) returned to practice on Thursday. He'll be ready for this weekend's game in Atlanta.

Cardinals RB David Johnson (quad) did not practice on Wednesday. HC Steve Wilks said afterward that he expects Johnson to play against the Falcons this weekend, so this sounds like more of a maintenance day. Check back tomorrow for another update on D.J.'s status.
