Chargers DE Joey Bosa is questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos after managing limited practices all week in his return from the foot injury. Even if he's active this week, the team has already said he'll play a limited role. IDP owners are probably best off sitting him for this week -- but stashing Bosa now for the stretch run.

"He looks awesome. He feels really good. He looks to be in great shape." That's what Chargers DC Gus Bradley had to say this week at OTAs about DE Joey Bosa, according to Joe Reedy of The Associated Press. But then the player conceded that he's still dealing with pain in the left foot that cost him 9 games last season. "It's not causing a limp or anything," Bosa said. "It's just there. It's just something I notice. It's been getting better all offseason, so I could definitely see by camp or maybe even next year where it kind of starts fading away. Once you get into season, it gets pretty intense. So we'll see." We don't want to worry too much about the foot right now, especially if Bosa's taking part in OTAs. But we certainly can't ignore the situation either. We'll be watching this as closely as any other IDP situation. Bosa sits near the top of our 2019 DL rankings at the moment.

Chargers DE Joey Bosa put in a limited practice Wednesday, marking his 1st participation since Wednesday of Week 1. We'll see whether he's ready to play against the Broncos on Sunday. We'll also see how soon he can get back to a full snap allotment after missing the 1st 9 games with a foot injury. But Bosa should be stashed now in most IDP leagues.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Chargers DE Joey Bosa is "not anywhere near ready to play right now," despite recent progress in his recovery from the mid-foot sprain that has kept him out all season. That makes it sound like he won't be ready to play Week 9, when the Chargers return from their bye. We'll keep an eye on the star defender's progress.

Chargers DE Joey Bosa said Wednesday he expects to remain out with his foot injury through the team's Week 8 bye. That would put him back on Nov. 4 at Seattle, if he's ready when the Chargers return to action. We'll obviously see about that. In the meantime, he's droppable in nearly all redraft IDP leagues (if you haven't done so already).

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Chargers DE Joey Bosa is expected to be out "into October" with his foot injury. Bosa is rehabbing the foot but is reportedly still dealing with swelling. And surgery remains a possibility. Bosa is droppable in shallower redraft IDP leagues. Isaac Rochell played 91% of defensive snaps in Bosa's place in Week 1 but needs to show he can deliver us numbers before we trust him in fantasy football lineups. A Week 2 visit to Buffalo does present upside, though.
