Panthers WR Devin Funchess (back) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game against the Bucs after getting in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. HC Ron Rivera said Friday that he’s “optimistic” about Funchess’ status. If active, he’ll be no better than a risky WR3. But Funchess’ return would make WR Curtis Samuel impossible to trust in fantasy lineups. WR D.J. Moore remains a WR2 with upside.
The Colts are not planning to activate WR Devin Funchess (collarbone) from the IR, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "The plate inserted into the break did not work out as hoped," Rapoport adds. "He hasn’t healed enough." Funchess is set to hit free agency this offseason. The Colts will move forward with Zach Pascal, Marcus Johnson and Chester Rogers as their healthy WRs. We'll see when T.Y. Hilton (calf) and Parris Campbell (hand) are able to return.
Colts WR Devin Funchess will return to practice Wednesday for the 1st time since suffering a collarbone fracture in the season opener, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Funchess landed on IR after Week 1 but could be ready to return with QB Jacoby Brissett for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Funchess would return to a WR corps that's still missing T.Y. Hilton and rookie Parris Campbell. We'll watch his progress this week.
The Colts have placed WR Devin Funchess on IR with his broken collarbone. That knocks him out until at least Week 10, so Funchess can be dropped in redraft leagues. We'll see who picks up his snaps going forward. The 6'2, 202-pound Deon Cain might be a sneaky bet. Parris Campbell, Chester Rogers and Zach Pascal are other candidates.
Colts WR Devin Funchess suffered a broken collarbone in Sunday's loss to the Chargers. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that Funchess is likely heading for surgery. Expect the wideout to miss at least half the season. His injury will leave more available for fellow WRs Deon Cain and Parris Campbell.
Colts WR Devin Funchess appeared to hurt his left shoulder late in Sunday's game against the Chargers. We'll pass along an update on his status when we get one.
Get ready to hear plenty about the Rams-Cowboys matchup and the inexpensive WRs on the main slate.
