Allen expected to play Saturday | Shark Bites | Draft Sharks

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Chargers WR Keenan Allen is expected to play Saturday night against Baltimore. Allen returned to a limited practice Wednesday after sitting out Tuesday with his hip injury. We'll certainly keep an eye on his status the rest of the week, right up until Saturday night's kickoff. If he's active, Allen will belong in nearly all fantasy lineups. His presence knocks Tyrell Williams down the Week 16 WR rankings.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) is active for today’s game against the Bears. He was reportedly a true game-time decision, so he evidently felt good enough in warmups. Allen still comes with a lot of risk in Week 8 fantasy lineups.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport calls Chargers WR Keenan Allen a "true game-time decision" for today's tilt with the Bears. "He was walking around well and had some optimism," Rapoport adds. ESPN's Adam Schefter, though, reports that Allen is "not optimistic." The good news for fantasy owners is that we'll get Allen's official game status around 11:30 am ET. But it's clear that he'll be operating at far less than 100% if he ends up active.

Chargers HC Anthony Lynn labeled WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt with the Bears. "I just need to see that he can go out and play and not hurt himself in pregame," Lynn said Friday. "If he can do that, then he's going to play." The coach added that Allen's snaps will be limited if he ends up giving it a go. We're sure to get more updates between now and kickoff, but Allen is shaping up as a high-risk, moderate-reward Week 8 fantasy play.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game against the Bears. He didn't practice on Thursday or Friday after not being on the injury report at all on Wednesday. Allen appears to be in real danger of missing Sunday's game. We'll look for updates on his availability throughout the weekend and will get his official game status by noon ET on Sunday. Allen's absence would leave Mike Williams as Los Angeles' clear #1 WR and would also likely push more targets toward TE Hunter Henry and RBs Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen did not practice on Thursday and is listed on the injury report with a hamstring. He wasn't on the injury report at all on Wednesday. We don't have any other details on the situation. It's possible this was more of a rest day for Allen, but it's more likely that he's dealing with a legitimate injury. We'll know more by Friday night.
