Rams RB Todd Gurley (knee) put in a limited practice on Tuesday. “We’re going to get him going and he’s going to practice. And we’re going to see how he feels,” HC Sean McVay said before the workout. “And I think a lot of it is just going to be him getting out there, trusting, getting some of that movement, just putting his foot in the ground, doing some of the things that he’s been accustomed to doing and seeing how that knee responds. So this week will serve as a good chance to get a gauge.” Gurley is expected to play against the Cowboys on Saturday, but we'll continue to keep an eye on his progress.
Rams RB Todd Gurley (quad) isn’t listed on the final Week 7 injury report after graduating to a full practice on Friday. RB Malcolm Brown (ankle) missed practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Falcons. Rookie Darrell Henderson will serve as Los Angeles’ #2 RB in this one, but Gurley should be in for plenty of volume in a likely shootout.
Rams RB Todd Gurley (quad) told reporters after Thursday's practice that he's "doing better" but wouldn't commit to being ready for this weekend's game against the Falcons, according to ESPN's Lindsay Thiry. RB Malcolm Brown, meanwhile, missed practice again on Thursday. We'll get another update on this backfield on Friday afternoon.
Rams RB Todd Gurley (quad) will participate in individual drills at Wednesday's practice, HC Sean McVay said. That's an upgrade over last week, when Gurley didn't practice at all. He has a legitimate shot to return for Sunday's game against the Falcons. RB Malcolm Brown, meanwhile, is "day to day" with an ankle injury, per McVay. We'll get another update on both guys tomorrow.
Rams RB Todd Gurley (quad) is officially inactive for today’s game against the 49ers. He has a “chance” to return for Week 7, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said this morning. Malcolm Brown is expected to serve as Los Angeles’ feature back today, with Darrell Henderson — and potentially John Kelly — spelling him.
Rams RB Todd Gurley (quad) is out for Sunday's game against the 49ers, a team source tells ESPN's Lindsay Thiry. The team has promoted RB John Kelly from the practice squad. Both Kelly and rookie Darrell Henderson could mix in for a handful of touches, but look for Malcolm Brown to handle the majority of the backfield work tomorrow.
Is Devonta Freeman too popular a pick this week? And is it really time to rely on the Buccaneers' defense? This is a funny game.
